Changes this week. OUT- May, Melksham, Howes, Turner (Sub) IN- Tomlinson, Jefferson, Fullerton, Laurie (Sub) Controversial opinion, Melksham’s little burst of energy he provided since returning has gone, I’d give him a week off and give Jeffo & Fullerton a taste, he (Jeffo) is not quite ready physically but he’s got natural forward craft. I’m also not a big fan of him, but bring Fullerton in to chop out Max abit, poor blokes literally on one leg. Which would allow us to rest Max forward & use JVR as a sole forward where he plays much better. Also Ports ruck stock’s aren’t much chop, so this would be a good week to have a look at it. Laurie Sub. (Can’t see any of these changes happening except for May and Tomo)

Obviously there are very real reasons why people can’t get to games. If you live interstate or have to drive hours each way, you have kids etc. Mental illness or financial reasons, your own personal health is paramount and following melb probably isn’t ideal for both mental and physical. I posted this thread to ask the regulars that live in melbourne who make up most the 40k local melb members. If this thread has annoyed you good.

Unfortunately Bowey is one of Goodwin’s untouchables just like Sparrow. I thought Bowey was better this week. Sparrow is just getting caught in no man’s land too often. He could use a week at Casey to fill his boots as the main man and get some Confidence back, but Goodwin must not rate the standard of the VFL at all. Apologise to Fullarton? The coach doesn’t have to be liked by every player. I think what he said is spot on, everyone complains he gives nothing. He stated a fact. if he said Verrell was more likely to play than Fullerton as ruck maybe you’d have a case.

Salem. Whats happened to him? Looks disinterested and has next to no impact on games. Lots of sideways kicking. Has the game gone past him? He has too much class to fade into mediocrity. How do you think we can use him better?

Anyone who went in thinking we could win this didn’t take the following into account. This team is young. Last week the average age of the team on the field was less than Essendon’s and they’re rebuilding. We’ve been up for a month in terms of consistency of effort. Thats hard for young players to maintain. Freo Pumped us in Alice and we had Gawn & Max.
