We would have out numbered them by 5-10k

I’m sure it’s been already mentioned but. Three of the worst calls I’ve ever seen by an umpiring group. The deliberate out of bounds for a an intercept spoil, payed against Brayshaw. ANB a clear 50 after rioli tackled him after he took a mark? The shepherding free against who knows for a Tiger defender falling over? When Fristch took that mark close to goal. it seemed to kill our momentum breaking moments every time! We did well to grind that out!

May was right last year when he said we won a flag because blokes like Tomlinson and Melksham weren’t playing.
-
Tomlinson just delisted himself today. The cliff is coming hard and fast for Tmac. Those 4 goals against the Weagles worth nothing today.

With 5 very winnable games coming up in the Bombers, Tigers, North, Suns & Hawks. I’d expect us to in paper win all 5 of them, putting us 8-1 with what I’d imagine being a robust percentage. With 3 out of the next 5 being a lot tougher (I’m not giving Freo or the cats any credit). Can you see the club “managing” any players leading into the Port Adelaide away game? Grundy is holding up well now atm but give him a month of being the top dog he might need a little freshen up so by the time Max is back (hopefully a week or 2 before King’s bday) we are at full strength and hopefully looking to at one hell of a game v the Pies who we owe from last year! My only worry is that it seems to be the mid year bye period that in previous years the loading seems to happen, do you think we may alter this tactic this year @binman and load a little later? Or did last years loading not even happen because the playing group was incredibly banged up from the previous year?

F#&k I hate Selwood. The intent show how “good” of a bloke around that GF last year just made me feel sick. Absolute dirt bag

Which Demon is the most likely to have a breakout year in 2023?
Doug Reemer replied to Chelly's topic in Melbourne Demons
Tom Sparrow for me. -
Yeah.. I disagree, it netted us a flag. I'll take that!

I think WA locking their boarders so hard made it hard on players with family's to go home and may have cost us a few more years here.

Weid is probably better playing as a ruck/fwd. he is certainly big enough.

I’ve got eyes.

The weid has had ample time to make it. Move on people. If he goes he goes, if he stays he plays for Casey.

I heard McKay is gettable this trade period. If there is even the slightest chance. I hope we explore all options.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY

Never doubted Petty.. -
This is brilliant lol

[censored] no.

Question for @binman If Petracca is more likely to play more time forward and ANB’s main job is to cover Petracca’s opponent defensively in the middle when he plays in the middle. Surely there is no need for ANB and he is first dropped after his last couple of games..

Christian Petracca hairline fracture.
Doug Reemer replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
I reckon Petracca has had about 10+ of these reset recovery sessions since last Friday. He’s giving Walt Disney a run for his money! My gut feel is he’ll run out looking like this tomorrow! -

JVR just ran out with a shirt that says “I am debuting in a final and will be the next Dermott Brereton”

Average at best? He’d just kicked 11 goals in 4 games and taken 5 contested marks, was averaging 12-13 disposals a game. IMO he was in good form and building.

Great Pod lads!

I got in on my phone at 1006am. Got 3 in Level 2 almost where my membership seat is. No problems!
