  1. No Franky, you're completely misunderstanding what I'm saying in your desperation to remain cranky. Clearly Geelong had an interest in Clarrie, and he had an interest in getting to them. What I'm saying is the media narrative of how things went down makes zero sense at all, as demonstrated by another poster having a crack at my comment.
  2. No, that's not what I was implying at all, and thank you for demonstrating my point. It was Geelong showing interest in Clarrie, not Pert 'shopping him' to the cats as the media narrative suggests. Of course we would've looked around knowing the cats were interested, it would be absolutely stupid not to a) get an idea on his value, and b) generate some sort of bidding war - if possible. Now for whatever reason, that little detail stayed very quiet in the media industry. What I'm saying is the media narrative is quite obviously way off what exactly happened. The Pert stitch up seems way out of line to me, and I'm not his biggest fan by any stretch.
  3. Something really is off with the whole story. If you were going to shop around one of the best midfielders in the comp, are you seriously going to Geelong? A major competitor for the flag, that has already committed their first draft pick (which wasn't even close to being enough anyway) for another player. Makes absolutely zero sense.
  4. It's only the Cats, they're cheating in every way they possibly can in my view, and it goes back a long way. Fords, farms, now Cotton On. Have a look at Ablett. Could barely get on the park in the end at the GCS. Gets back to Geelong and all of a sudden he's fine. I think his shoulder strapping even disappeared after a while. Was clearly playing dead to get back to the Cats. They've been into Clarry for years, I wouldn't put it past them to offer him a contract and say play dead for 12 months and we'll pick you up on the cheap. That's my level of distrust for that club. If the comment was made for every single club, then yes, that would be stupid.
  5. Glad I'm not the only one thinking this way. The last one was Byrnes, and somehow during his time with us the Cats came across the intel about us taking Max Holmes so they sneaked in front of us to steal him. Then he heads back to Geelong and they win the flag. I wouldn't be giving them any more opportunity to pick up IP from us.
  6. Your source got it slightly wrong. It's Tom Morris, and he's come dressed as a urinal cake.
  7. That's an entire political spectrum Stoney!
  8. Was it in the forest? Did it make a sound?
  9. If we picked up Harry Oliver it's instant social media time. Video as he walks into the club the first time, title - 'When Harry met Clarry'
  10. Don't push me, I'm close
  11. Even worse when you land on Tony Greig's dam keys down there. Perhaps he was just a victim of eras. I think sticky tape technology is much better these days. He might've been ready to go in a jiffy.
  12. Clarry held by the foot, play on
  13. Hello boys!
  14. 'Holding, Melbourne' Mate are you telling me you don't know the bloke's name?
  15. I'm beginning to think Clarrie's hand wasn't broken, it was amputated.
  16. I reckon you should've gone with 'style' instead of 'bite'
  17. Massive jumper hold on May
  18. Are GWS getting stats for all these tackles when we don't have the ball?
  19. Should've been 50 to Lever as well
  20. How on earth is that not fifty
  21. Did anyone just see Ryan Lester doing his best ANB impression? Of course, just a throw in.
  22. Thanks for clarifying that
  23. Yes but that's just to try and even up the numbers.....
