I know right? Collingwood supporters provoke me all the time by just existing. It’s unjust.
  2. Hahahahahahahaha, can we get these chips into the balls next year please? Jesus Wait was that in?? 2nd edit - I think Daffodil was correct and it was just in.
  3. Or podge. Podge = obese. Obese rhymes with police. The police were lead by Sting. Bees sting and they like flowers. So I’ll call Hodge daffodil from now on.

Not in Victoria. It can only come into consideration upon sentencing.

I of course could be wrong here… but I have a sneaking suspicion that if Pendlebury hadn’t done this exact same thing a few weeks ago in which he only got a fine, Marlion would be getting a week. And then the footy media would be on their high horse about this being ‘poor example to kids’. Pendles though? Nah no worries. May as well mention this here but watch for this action in the granny this year. Why wouldn’t you do it? Target a couple players and get 10 different players to do this exact thing over a game.
  6. Footy was the winner today.
  7. The frustration I have with Lobb is that he is essentially the same size as Mumford with none of the aggression. I’m not talking slamming guys into the turf or knocking the stuffing out them with hip and shoulders, but things like smashing into marking packs. Giving the opposition players something to think about if they know you’re running up behind them. Mumford was 199cm and 109 kg Lobb is 207cm and 106kg (12kg heavier than Hipwood and 3kg heavier than Tom Hawkins) Different body types yes but Lobb is still massive in terms of weight and he’s quick for his size so would generate greater momentum. He doesn’t utilise his size and play like a big guy up forward, he plays like a third tall. Who would fear Rory Lobb in the AFL?
  8. Hipwood? Considering he’s probably 5+ inches taller and 10+ kg heavier?
  9. Ok this makes sense in terms of what I could see with our running. Against Brisbane and then the first half of the Tigers game essentially (it looked better to 3/4 time), the whole team looked slower in terms of run. No bursting away from players or looking like many could hit full pace.
  10. A win is a win. Geelong game will really show us where we’re at.
  11. Awesome channel 7 commentary.
  12. Windsor is a gun
  13. Weird what happens when you also honour leads
  14. Turner is a very good set shot for goal. Everything is straight lines and super simple kicking style.
  15. Beautiful kick
  16. C’mon Dees, [censored] fire up
  17. Ooooooft yeah, we cannot play like this against Geelong or we’ll lose by 50 easy. We look tired or something. It’s weird. There’s no zip in the legs across the ground.
  18. Genuinely asking, anyone else reckon we look slow or something? The whole team looks like we’re playing in two inches of sand? Was the same is the Brisbane game.
  19. WHAT ARE THESE KICKS
  20. Mmmm gonna be a scrappy night it looks
  21. My Grandfathers cousin was Alf Baud who served in WW1. He is also Carlton’s youngest ever Premiership captain at 22. He enlisted and was deployed not long after this, got injured and was never able to play again. He was lucky enough to have been able to return and live until the age of 94. Roy ‘up there’ Cazaly said this of him: ‘Another great Carlton player was Alf Baud. He could play anywhere. The younger generation are proud to speak of the amazing balance of Haydn Bunton. I think that Baud, by comparison, would have made Bunton look ordinary. Baud would have been a football sensation had it not been for the war. That finished his career. His war injuries were severe. You would have stopped Baud one minute, or should I say you thought you had stopped him; then in a flash he was past you. He was a thinker. Every counter you met him with was in turn countered by this most elusive footballer. Baud was one of the greatest players we have produced. I don't think he ever reached his top. — Roy Cazaly, 5 June 1937‘ I think of him on Anzac Day. The older I get the more visceral sadness, anger and disgust I feel at the waste and destruction of entire generations of young people. Lest we forget.
  22. Yeahhhhh… Not good. Not good at all.
  23. Absolutely, I’ll be watching more eagles games now because of him. If he can consistently mark like that in F50 throughout his career then he’s basically a 7th forward. NIGHTMARE to play against.
  24. Oh boy, just watched the Harley Reid highlights from last night… not sure I can recall in my lifetime a 19 y.o., 6 game midfielder, in a very average side, that is taking marks over packs like a veteran forward 🥶🥶🥶🥶
  25. If it’s not us to win the flag, I want GWS to win. I never thought I’d say this, but I like them.
