  1. Thanks pal. I like the sounds of that comment best player drafted since Oliver. And sounds like we may picked up some shrewd picks in Sharp and Campbell. Albeit small sample, but consistent with training reports over the summer.
  2. Thanks mate. Sounds promising 👌
  3. How are all the newest Dees we got over the offseason going?
  4. Get around him @picket fence!
  5. Scores? Who's kicked our goals?
  6. English, please?
  7. Have we resorted to kicking it long inside 50 yet? #DLtriggers
  8. Not that this game means much, but there's room for optimism from Roos fans. Believe they have only 2 or 3 starters not playing as opposed to ours 8-10.
  9. I would like to see the player management like the Cats did in 2022. They did a superb job of it that year in particular with their 'older' players.
  10. Could always use a megaphone 📣 and start shouting things like, "kick it to Bison", "nice kick, Bison" and initially you will see confusion amongst the team, especially Bison, but persist, and especially get excited when he puts it through the big sticks, "nice goal, Bison!" Doing it in a positive reinforcement way will make the name stick. I also want this filmed for the socials.
  11. Importantly, who won the water fight?
  12. Plus, Hodgey is one of the few commentators who gives it back to BT's BS antics and calls, deserves respect in itself 😁
  13. Good. Because we don't want too much cockle-doodle-dooing from you.
  14. Looks like you'll have to go down yourself, Roost, and set the standards 😉
  15. Yeah, lost by 2 points. From memory, think we were up a few goals at start of game and GWS slowly clawed back and got the lead only for us to charge back but ran out of time. Yes, from memory it was wet and cold night and attendance was subsequently quite low.
  16. Absolutely towelled us up last time he played us. Big out.

How on earth did Melksham mark that ball on 3 Blues defenders!? Pittonette trying to milk a free but Melk with the smarts got a 50 instead 🤣😂 Kozzy with Hunt's headband on with Hunt's kick inside 50 with goal over the shoulder in the dying seconds was folklore stuff! Best part was able to read that girl Blues fan's lips... "Get f****d!" 🙃😁

I believe Petty has trained this pre-season both backline and forward. I think they will go with May, Lever and McDonald backline and use Petty as swingman to rest McDonald, pinch-hit ruck, and swap with tall forwards if they have a rest and assume full-time back man if one of May or McDonald injured, need management with TOG or resting for matches, which at their ages should start to occur, or if out of form.

No FTA when AFL made a few points of declining Indigenous players in AFL. A real missed opportunity for exposure given it's been 10 years since the last Indigenous All Stars game, and who knows it could be another generation when the next game is played.

Same. Big bodied and bobs up to kick occasional goals. What we need more from our midfield.
  21. Some good highlights, liked the way X moves! Sparrow with 3 goals against Blues last pre-season, a few in this match sim, would love to see him translate this more often and into the games that matter.

You hate articles, I love lamp.

Not much has changed in 34 years... Unreasonable niggling of number 11 by opposition players and Indian Mynas annoyingly chirping in the effects mics.
  24. Well done, Neale, an award long overdue. You have left an indelible legacy in your fight against the beast. My sister died from MND in 2000 and back then barely anyone had heard of it or knew what it was. Neale's bravery and selflessness to put himself in the spotlight to campaign and help those suffering from this fatal disease has been the main reason MND is widely known in society today. There are no amount words I could personally put together to convey my gratitude to him. Neale, you are a true hero.
