Sometimes the footy gods are cruel.
-
They need to fix the rules of the clock. Teams can start wasting the time from 10 mins left.

We have a sniff.

Disposal out of half back is killing us. Kicking it straight to Cats.

They score runs seriously fast. Hoping Hazlewood can bowl like he did against SA and dry up runs and make them play rash shots.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 27th November, 2023
Lexinator replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I believe these timelines for return to pre-season training is part of players CBA. As posters have said, the club still has expectations on your training, diet and what you do with recreation time when you are in the off-season, pre-season and during the season. Plenty of articles in the past with the likes of Petracca, Gawn, Rivers training early or doing extra stuff in off-season, I think every player would do extra to some extent. Anyway, it's good to at least see BBB up and about and his knees not bandaged. -
Here's a great article on Tayla ❤️ https://www.afr.com/companies/sport/aflw-star-tayla-harris-tells-why-she-s-ready-to-sweep-floors-20230828-p5dzyh

Scheer is a big out for Cats.

I think so too. Thought I read somewhere North no longer considering pick 1? WC need multiple picks to speed up their rebuild, Reid a go home risk for them. Same goes for North, need multiple players for their rebuild. We've seen Pies and Lions get high end talent in recent seasons slot straight in and made a difference with Daicos and Ashcroft and if Reid is as good as he's made out to be why not go all out for him? Anyway, I have faith in the MFC to maximise whatever picks we take to the draft.

How good has Hazlewood bowled!?

Oi oi oi!

Good start Aussies!

You're welcome 🎅

Better than I expected. Huge win no Geelong trip. Good to see Geelong and West Coast come to the 'G for once. Only 1 Marvel game is a good surprise too. Few teams that struggle at the 'G like Lions, Saints, Roos play us there too. Suns in GC then Pies to finish season will be tough.

That's why I like Australia's approach to pitches. Each ground seems be be different, you know what to expect but all are different and vary year to year at same time and makes it a pretty even contest with bat and ball. My favourite format is test so the aforementioned especially applies.

Incredible player. Probably the best white ball cricketer ever.

Go Kiwis!

Some say AFL is the most corrupt sporting organisation in other threads. In comparison to ICC, not even close.

Depends on your circumstances IMO re: Thursday nights. Personally I love them! I can't get to many games at all each and every season so reliant on TV to watch games. Extra day an AFL game is played on, if you like watching games there is less overlap on other games, usually good teams playing, can help teams get extra rest some weeks especially handy coming from an interstate trip.

Have I missed something? What's this 'round zero'? Thanks in advance.
-
Absolutely. You often see a lot of locals wearing Melbourne gear during non-Melbourne NT games. Plus the club and players like to engage with the community whilst they are there, it means a lot to them Melbourne coming back year after year.

Worst game we've played in a long time. Kangas were very good. Even the ball was bouncing in their laps, just one of those bad days. At least the weather was nice.
