JvR almost taking Roach-like marks excites me!

Very highly anticipated debut, reminded me of the build up to Hogan's debut years ago. Great to see his huge pack marks, aggression at the contest, very good debut season. Would rather see JvR do rucking only in forward, and as he becomes stronger could do what Hawkins does well and goal from forward ruck contests. Only thing I would like to see in JvR is to channel his frustrations when he's out-marked. Not sure if anyone noticed, several times throughout the season when out-marked, out of frustration tried to hit the ball out of the opponent's hand, from what I recall, missed every time but obviously would be a 50 metre penalty. Not a bad thing, obviously has a strong hunger to get better and beat his opponent at every contest, which is a good attribute as a key forward ❤️💙

Big fan of the Chin. His goal kicking accuracy is pretty good, hard at the ball, and has a good leap and very strong over head marker for his size, this is a really underrated skill of his. Could make a formidible partnership with likes of Kozzy, McAdam in '24.

He will make a fortune! Will be in high demand for a few years yet! I think he will do really well once he retires from test cricket and can concentrate on being explosive and destructive batter that he enjoys being. Would be some effort if he made the '27 CWC!

Good day today, thanks to all that believed in me that I would. Both Pakistan and Australia played well throughout the day. Few missed chances by Pakistan in the field when they were on top gave us the ascendancy. Hamza and Afridi bowled well. Hard to see Marsh miss out on a ton, funnily I went years ago when Shaun got run out on 99 at the MCG, brothers, hey!? Good crowd, not sure figures, felt like between 40,000 to 50,000ish, good atmosphere.

Accidently pressed 'report' button instead of quote button, hopefully DRS works on that too so you're not 'out' 😅😁 That was crazy stuff 2 DRS reversed in a row! Even the umpire saw the funny side of it 🤣 I cheered loudly at the TV when the third ball wasn't a DRS decision hehe. Good game we have on our hands! Going tomorrow, first Boxing test in 8 years! Gosh. Not the first time he's lashed out on other players. Johnson starting to remind me of Cornes in this regard. Warner has made mistakes, but feel he's come a long way and matured a lot. Let's hope to see some blistering centuries from Dave this summer to see out a fantastic test career.
