Two more games until finals time. This is the game to rest players who aren’t 100% fit. Then get them ready for Geelong and finals. How we have been this year means that for us Adelaide probably won’t be a 100% certain win but surely we have enough depth for this weeks game. if I was Goodwin I’d place out what my dream finals team looks like then go okay, McDonald isn’t 100% atm let’s get him right for Geelong. 8 players 21 and under played for us on the weekend and besides spargo they have all played under 21 games if I’m correct. all I hear is about the baby bombers when they only had 3 players 21 and under and a couple of their players had 20 games or less.. what exactly makes them the baby bombers?

The fairytale of going to a grand final parade, main training session and grand final is off the cards this year (if we make it) I just can’t see the grand final being in Melbourne. If we can’t travel and get to games then I hope Melbourne can organise some places for us to attend too (if we can by then) with large screens and at least can watch finals games with my fellow dees As much as my footy dream is to be at the G with another 100,000+ fans and us holding the cup and roaming the streets celebrating this year, I’ll take a packed oval with my dees fans

I reckon JJ comes in. We tend to play kozzie in the midfield sometimes but if it’s raining chuck jordan in the mid and let kozzie stay up forward and get ready for the ground ball. Weids can’t mark as it is so being wet will guarantee he gets 0 marks. Pointless I reckon

Couple of things I hope we do in the wet is not over handball kick it into our 50 as quick as possible and then worry about a tidy play to try and score kick it off the ground if need be.. we refuse to do this. If it’s raining kick it off the ground if we have too.. move it forward! we prepare for rush long kicks out of our forward line. They’ll try and bomb it out and have less handballs if it’s raining. Set up and prepare

4 out of the 6 teams play in Victoria next week.. why they didn’t move them to Victoria this weekend is beyond me

Hi all, so my family and I are heading up to the Gold Coast and we were meant to go to this game.. I have noticed a lot of Melbourne fans were doing the same before it got moved. Maybe we can all organise a pub to go to and watch it together? For those who will be up there with no game to go to anymore

Who would have thought a Friday could get even better! Brown didn’t do a whole lot for his first game back but you could see the port defenders still worry about him and couldn’t help but follow him. It allowed most of their defenders to be near brown and have other forwards sneak off into some space. He’ll always get the best defender because if he doesn’t he can kick 3+ goals. Allows fritsch McDonald Jackson Gawn to be able to beat their opponents when in the forward line.

If it’s raining I hope we just make sure it’s in our forward 50. Then set up for a quick kick out. We don’t need to win pretty. No need for a thousand handballs in the middle if it’s so wet. This is where decision making and footy smarts will come into play if conditions change

Who runs with Charlie Cameron for this game? I watched the Brisbane game and he creates so much scoring opportunity for them and a lot of them are inspiring ones too just like kozzy for us. I find him far more dangerous than hipwood and Daniher right now. Even Mcstay. He is like our fritsch or tmac (although they’re not physically the same as him) but seem to have more impact than our talls right now.
