Yes, but if we are housebound, we will need to watch TV. And sports on TV.
-
We still need to recruit more speed. Forget Gaffe.

Oh, be still my aching... ? ?

And they'll call it hiccup soccer

I wanted to trade him for dShiel.

Of course it is; can you imagine a huge majority of people at home with nothing to do but be worried and negative about life. Distractions to the other realities are crucial to keep people calm.

The AFL should lease planes to fly teams only, to their destinations. Here is an opportunity for the government to come to the party, so to speak, in order to keep the national sports occurring, to help ease the anxiety of the nation... even if the games are closed to supporters.! RAAF... where are you .

Gawn: Jackson "already better than me"
MyFavouriteMartian replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
In a half of footy. Team balance, and teammates who know one another's games, is crucial to get off in a winning way. Especially over there. If he is to play early, then let it be at the 'G', against the Giants. -
Pies supporter arriving for the Big game at the 'G'.

China! I'd like to now just how many Nth Korea has, to this day?

And so was Dunn in his 1st half of his career. He wanted to only play forward. He thought he was too good for defence, and was insulted with that role. But he was a head ducker. When he settled into defence, he was a better player. As was Howe, but still soso.

Apparently seen attending training, but no players were to be found. ?

Losing seems to do this to past top coaches. Like Malthouse before him, who wanted to extend the interchange bench to 6 or more, they seem to lose the plot. Hell why not ban full backs from playing within 30 Mtrs of the goals. No defenders inside 30m. That'll fix scoring issues. How is it that these coaches can wake up one morning and think they have the right to change our game so fundamentally.? Go back to sleep Clarko;... your having a bad dream.

It'll take us at least 2 seasons, of learning to beat the top teams regularly, and back to back wins. A couple of seasons to have this develop into our team and mentality, and systems of play. This in-turn will be handed down to our young players coming thru, as a normalised and expected doctrine of winning... This is the launching pad for us. That plateau between our old brigade of players, and our very young players, just starting out. Its this 2nd tier of our list, which I believe will take hold of the baton on-top that plateau, and begin our charge up remainder of that hill, to go all the way with it, and drink from that Cup.

He didn't, as far as can see Roos cut Watts some slack, on a few occasions, because of Jack W's talents. Roosy and PJ were unhappy with JW's efforts in 2016, and when at Edihard stadium, watts was dragged and dropped, 'iirc', for a time. Watts came back with better attitude/form, gaining an extension on contract, until after Roosy was finished. 2017 was it for 'JW', and really should have been much, much earlier than that, in hindsight. We would have gotten a better trade for him, if offered up earlier..? If after a season under Roos, (2014), we would have gotten a good deal for 'JW'. This would have put us right back into the early 2014 National Draft. https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_drafts?year=2014&t=N&s=P

No, we didn't get it wrong. To clear out a weak culture, you sometimes have to remove much loved players to work to that end. Even when they could be still good footballers. Taking a player from a poor cultured club, into a club with a strong culture is not such a gamble, as long as that player is coach-able, and not totally rebellious.

It all helps a little, 'SWYL'.

Just more crapola news. These so called newspapers are being too desperate in these days of digital doings.

No, not Mayo's job. You mean someone like Dermie, and Ayers/Dipper, in the Hawks teams. Or, someone like Keating, and Brown/Lynch, in the Matthews/Lions teams. And add the Scott twins, at ground level, not to forget mPike.

I've been mulling over this point, Re centre-man position. Traditionally a classy highly skilled players position, apart from R/R and Rover positions. I think both Petracca and Oliver are more the R/R type players. I think maybe Brayshaw is the closest to classy we have, with his footy brain. Although he has a bit of a habit of butchering the ball, far too often. Next maybe Salem, but m not so convinced with his ability playing inside the ruck. No. I think it's Lever.

I was thinking, again. you might have been referring to 'the planet', or other clinics.? ?
-
Nah, he doesn't. They are playing devils advocate to us, talking our chances down, as they don't trust us to come to play; when we are considered as favourites. We are definitely at our best, when we go into games with something to prove to the doubters.

Maturity. Collective maturity across our most talented young players. IMO, we have only just recruited the required young talents to do this job; and many are still under 20 Yrs of age. I think we are 3 Yrs off the big dance. But I expect us to be playing off in finals, from this year.

Are they covered on Medicare, 'Bbo'.?

Just make sure Rupert, is facing up, 'dw'. I'm surprised he doesn't have his image on the pound note, buy now. _ _ _ _ I suppose One could always go direct to Bolts page and tear away. That would be the obvious alternative to rupert.
