Obviously I don't know; but it started in dead centre China, has overtaken Sth Korea and Japan, and other threats/powers around Asia/Europe. Bacterial warfare is a possibility.?

What makes you think this Corona virus, is a natural occurrence?

This is what you get in a culture where humanity is second fiddle. And power is the first and main fiddle. = China wants to be the major power, leader of the world; as does Putin, and others, most religions want to lead the world, In their own style. Most. When the nation is more important than its constituents, then it is failing already. Leadership has rotted, and they are lost. IMV, people are the most important above all.

Stand up football - an ill-conceived idea?

Tackle high, in that scenario. But no pushing. Or a free kick shall be awarded. -
Dense populous in capital cities is a pandemic's feast. This is our weakness in Australia is the lack of Dee-Centalisation.

China denied the virus at the beginning, and then they refused to send out live cultures of the virus to scientists around the world. We were one of the first to successfully grow live cultures, from an infected person within Australia. And we forwarded cultures around the world, for scientists to start work on

Yes it does. I will provide more open space, as players struggle to cover enough ground to close up play defensively. Your right, it would impact skills when players fatigue, but this enhances one-on-one contests, with the character of players standing out in these duels. These are inspiring battles that stood the test of time, of over 100 years of footy.

That could be the cleansing effect of this virus for the long term. It could bring back Pro sports payments, back to a realistic level, as the world in its forms, environment, economies, etc, all readjust to less international trade and travel. Buy the 'HOLDEN' brand rights, and bring back to Australia. for our future.

This, I believe would be the worst thing to do. if we want people to stay indoors at home. Having nothing of interest to do inside the house will only encourage people to go out and mingle. IMO.

This is why the face masks are very handy for this, as long as they seal well and filter well enough.

Stand up football - an ill-conceived idea?

HaHa, yes me too. But Clayton Cameron would have played well in these games. It seems he was forever pushing players from behind using his legs, and giving away free kicks for his efforts. Anyhow stand up footy still stands on this board, so lets have fun with these posts, whilst Nero fiddles with our well beings. Go Nero-Mo.! -

edi-ted. -
Reduce the interchange bench to two. That will fatigue players and stop so much of the 2way running. Putting more pressure on defences. And opening up scoring opportunities.

Trade for need/speed, I think for 2020.? Draft for CHB and another tall forward. We need to draft KP talls now(2020) & next season, for 3 or 4Yrs down the track. As replacements for May & tMac, etc.

I agree, 'dnx'. As I did for a few seasons, until he had such high tickets on himself. I think we are ahead.
-
And Pre Barassi as well. Barass an Jordan helped to clear most of it out, but some players were to good to eject. Northey wouldn't stand any slackers. But the Big heads did creep back in again, and then its not long before the place is party-central, 'again'.

Gaff would have cost us the same pay, as the two of Langdon and Tominson together.

Perhaps there should be no tackling, when a player standing bent over, 'to pickup the slippery ball', is vulnerable to head-high contact. So, no tackling when head is below knees, during retrieving ball, butt perhaps buming could be allowed, but only from behind, so as to not collect the head on the way past.? I can't wait until this gets the go ahead, and the AFLW have to adopt,, these rules into their competition. ? -
If so he wasn't alone, KLV. There have been many in recent and not so recent memory. And most, at least recently, were traded away.
-
I didn't say Roos traded watts, at all. I think I would have said that watts eventually lost Roos respect, but got a reprieve and a new contract, on the back of a couple of better games late in his contract year. Roos's last year as coach. The next year watts came back to the club in poor condition, and was straight away in the sin bin. As he should have been, and finally traded out of this club. Watts behaviours was a reflection of the old culture that haunted this club Prior to Roosy's efforts, and Goody is also cleaning things up. see Hogan. That old cushy soft culture pervaded thru Danihers era, coming from around Balmes time. Hence why no Silverware in those periods.

Wow. Now your being so ridiculous, for a real footy lover, your showing a level of tribal nonsensical gibberish, that I wouldn't have expected from you. I expect a bit more balance from you normally, dd36.

Actually, your making stuff up about me.

Based it on watching him live in his early career; seeing him duck his head and drop marks. For the first few years, unit l got sick of him trying to make it. The debate was on for some time, Re where he should play, back or forward. This is why he became a defender. It's the position he could handle. Meantime the club was wasting time going in circles.
-
What, other than watching him weekly, with high hopes for him. One of his first games was against the Cats, as I recall, in a night game. Maybe a Friday night game? He was played at CHF, didn't like close attention when going for his overhead marks. Nothing much changed for sometime, and the club searched for his rightful position. Eventually as a defender. He didn't like that at first.
