  1. The club holds the cards, we’re also a good club, if Grundy wants to leave we’ll facilitate a trade. We’ll only pay some of his salary if it nets us a useable draft selection in the top 20. The only way he stays if he is happy to play second fiddle to Gawn next year. The club won’t hold him to a contract if he wants to play elsewhere, we’re not that club. Player welfare is a high priority at the Dee’s.
  2. My guess is that Turner will replace May in selected side
  3. TMac remains a risky proposition. Not convinced he’ll be playing finals. He’ll replace Smith?
  4. If we can’t get a back up ruck and Grundy leaves does Schache get a run?
  5. I’m not fussed if he moves on. Fresh coaching perspective’s are great for teams at the top
  6. We won’t be paying any part of his wage unless the pick is a first rounder
  7. Would WC take pick 4 and 5 for Allen and would we do it?
  8. B- for mine, he covered Gawn really well, played some good games with Gawn. Unfortunately their best game together was a practice game
  9. We’re hitting finals like a freight train, I’m pumped I will add that I was also confident in 21 and watching the footy is hard. I get really nervous and anxious. This finals series is going to really test me. Breathe Roost It!
  10. Perfect reason/excuse to rest players if all other results go our way. We want the Pies at the G in a QF. We'll beat Sydney if it doesn't change this outcome. There's no way we'd risk playing Brisbane in a QF at the Gabba.
  11. Yes but as discussed what does that do to other other forward metrics, pressure, running, tackles but to name 3?
  12. I know and they just gave Goodwin a 2 year extension!1 :)
  13. I’m not convinced the club worked them the best way possible but what would I know. I’d of tried Grundy as a 50% ruck, 20% forward, 30% bench and Gawn 50% ruck, dropping behind the ball and 20% bench. I’d of had them both on the ground but always 50m apart, blocking space and being a threat forward.
  14. And if the Suns player doesn’t miss from 30m and the Lions kick one more goal we’re back to fourth. Maybe first was a statistical anomaly
  15. North will pick Reid number 1, take that to the bank
  16. I'd rest Gawn, Viney and May and play Grundy, Turner and Spargo
  17. Some were saying May might have done a hammy at the end of the Hawks game?
  18. If the Pies lose to Essendon it's only in an attempt to avoid playing us
  19. I've seen enough of him to know that with 2 years of consistent training and matches he'd be a 40-50 a year goal kicker. That's all we need.
