  1. That's really not what I wanted to hear, tell him he's got 4 weeks to get better.
  2. So are we right in thinking Fritousky has a pretty serious injury?
  3. ANB can't make a 15m pass to a guy in the clear. I understand he does a lot of good but sheesh his mistakes are telling. Smith far from our worst. What was Harmes role? Brown not too bad in conditions. Viney a beast Oliver back next week I hope. Goodwin I think is the problem.
  4. Even BinMan will have trouble explaining that last quarter. That's the worst quarter of football I've ever seen. I trust JVR will be back next week.
  5. Rubbish, had we kicked better than 9 year olds we’d be 7 goals in front. Unless of course the strategy you’re talking about is to hope the opposition kick a barrage of points from inside 30
  6. We’ve paid the umpires enough this week
  7. He's going to rip the comp apart in 2 -3 years, expect him back in next week He was ok today as the 3rd tall against poor opposition VFL player Not sure, these big guys can take awhile. My pleasure
  8. JVR way too good for this level that was Schwarz al over
  9. Weather permitting I’m expecting a solid 5-6 goal win full of running
  10. Big Fella, you can’t include McStay, he’s a spud
  11. We’ll roll them like the Pies rolled the suns
  12. We’ll run rings around them tomorrow
  13. We should pick him, he’s going to be a superstar
  14. Is he any better than average?
  15. I think these are both right. I think we were playing the long game that night but also wanted the win. I think we always want the win but as binman says it's not the sole objective. I'll be pretty surprised if we don't win tomorrow as I see it more in the must win category.
  16. I think the FD has been planning Browns return for a few months. He’s been playing at half throttle for Casey then as we move beyond the loading period he gets his knee drained and he’s back in the ones. I think it’s zero desperation and totally planned and logical. If he can play some good footy over the next month and remain pain free then great. If he can’t we settle on an alternative, which I’m sure we’re planning for.
  17. I think our midfield has held up pretty well in Oliver's absence. I'm not sure how deep you expect it to run. Sparrow, Pickett, Rivers, McVee? Jordan, ANB, Spargo can all go through there. I'm expecting the big 3 to play a lot of minutes in there come finals. Exciting!
  18. If his knee is feeling good he makes us a 3-4 goal better side. if it's not good he makes us 1-2 goals worse.
  19. Just sparing the competition the dominant forward line of a fit Ben Brown, a hungry and angry JVR and an electrifying JSmith. I for one am looking forward to seeing that.
  20. I'd take him in a heartbeat
  21. FFS, Kozzie hasn’t been bad. Defensively he’s elite and that’s clearly been the messaging this last 6 weeks. He’s ranked number 12 in the league for forwards. Sure he’s not kicking bags of 6 but I think he might just start being more offensive over the last month
  22. I think that’s a really poor appraisal of what BBB brings to us. He’s never crumbled at the top level, he trains and plays as well as his degenerative knee allows him. He also supports the AFLW side with coaching. He’s been a great asset to the club. I think he’s cooked but can’t wait for him to prove me wrong.
  23. I think Browns a long shot but I was wrong once before about 26 years ago
  24. I’m thinking he won’t play all of them
