  1. I wonder if Hibberd takes Heeney when he's forward and Hunt is given Papley?
  2. 9.00am Tuesday, All the info is there, just scroll down the information page
  3. I'm wrong....... first time ever......knew I should have checked
  4. No......at least I didn't think you were
  5. The media simply don't know what he's doing. Some reliable posters here have said he's going for personal reasons. We've been looking at Grundy. I'm still confident he stays. That's likely part my optimistic nature and part "why the [censored] would you leave atm". He's going to be a generational talent, yes we'll get good compo for him to soften the blow. Yes he's not going to a big Vic club so we can largely ignore his progression into superstar. Yes we'll enjoy the new drat picks we get. However to me, he's a Melbourne player and I love watching him play and his general demeanour. He seems like a ripping young bloke. If he does leave I'll wish him well and boo him in total jest when we play Freo. I will say the club has done us all proud with the way it has handled the whole thing, likewise with Yze. We've become a Professional Club and we're about to go back to back and Jackson will play a key role in that.
  6. I don’t think it’s a certainty that he’s leaving. The media have no idea just ask Essendon
  7. He is good, good doesn’t cut it. He’s a great assistant.
  8. Totally agree regarding Sydney, really don't want to play them in the finals.
  9. We won't lose another game this year Back to back baby!!
  10. I don't want to go anywhere near the swans in the finals, they're a massive chance imo
  11. We got Jackson after tumbling down the ladder and he helped us win a flag. He's now going to leave, seemingly for personal reasons, which I cannot for the life of me understand. However we can now set ourselves up with 2 very high draft picks, some astute drafting and maybe a raid on a tall KPF. Once upon a time all the drama was on the field, now to keep us entertained they've extended the drama to a whole of club experience with player movements used to keep us salivating 12 months of the year. Personally I find the whole thing a bit contrived but hey Jackson for 2 really good forwards and a recruiting coup thrown in....why the hell not!
  12. We’ll beat Collingwood by 5 goals in the first week of the finals, rest for another week. Then win a Prelim against whoever, then beat Geelong in a thriller to go back to back. You might have covid Dan but I’m staying safe drinking the Kool-Aid. I love the fact we’re not favourites anymore and clubs and the media think we’re cooked. We’re a couple of % off our best and clubs have to play out of their skin to beat us. It all starts again in week 1 of the finals and I can’t wait! Go Demons!!
  13. Our supporters stay away because they’re largely older MCC members who don’t want to sit in the rain surrounded by rabid Collingwood ****bags when they can be at home with the faux fire on.
  14. Petty pushed him square in the back when he was already under the ball…..right in front of the umpire. Free kick every day of the week. Collingwood play a daring, high pressure game and we should’ve won by 4-5 goals
  15. I’m a believer in we’re tiring due to training loads getting ready for the real stuff. The next 2 weeks will hopefully prove that correct. 🙏🤞
  16. Cause they’re not as good as we are! 😊
  17. The opposition smell blood…..calm the farm…….we flatlined mid season as we did last year and bounced back by belting the Lions. The Cats won’t beat us at the G, just at their half size arena. I’ve not seen JVR play but I’d be more than happy for the club to roll him out against Port if he’s ready. We’re still going to be very very very hard to beat come September.
  18. We need to go shopping for a key forward.
  19. Or Fritsch missing the lot from 35 or any number of times we bombed long rather than lowering the eyes inside 50 or being out hustled time and again or Levers dropped mark or several iffy umpiring decisions Yes Sparrow’s was a shocker but he wasn’t alone. consider how poorly we played and the Swans still had to play out of their skins to beat us. We’ll still win the Premiership
