Farewell Jayden Hunt
- Farewell Jayden Hunt
Each to their own. For mine, his best moments this year were in the last minutes against Carlton, winning the ball near the centre, using his pace and getting it in deep. His worst moments were getting caught out in a one in one marking contest as the last defender as well as losing his man at a stoppage near goal.- Farewell Jayden Hunt
Play him on the opposite Wing to Langdon. Use his speed to our best advantage. Too shaky in one on ones in defence.- Farewell Luke Jackson
Ruck Rover Starting 4 Gawn , JACKSON , Oliver , Petracca- CHANGES 2022
The old ârobbing Peter to pay Paulâ scenario. Maybe Turner ( has scope) might only cover, say 75% of Petty down back, but Petty might just be a 100% improvement on the mess that has been the 2022 forward line. Overall, that would be a significant win. At least try Petty as a swing man type, to me he has a similar style to one of the best in Terry Daniher. Develop Petty and Van Rooyen as our primary key forwards next year and we might just be able to lock down those positions for the next 8 years.- CHANGES 2022

Canât disagree with any of the above. Iâd like to add, - VINEY should 1. not start in the centre square 2. IMO should not be considered in the best 5 midfielders we have ( too many limitations ) Therefore we need to bring in 2 quality midfielders. .3. Perhaps he is best used as a negating midfielder. - HUNT is not a defender, play him in a more attacking role, either on a wing or half forward, if not, move him on. PETTY, whilst he has the capacity to be in the best 3 tall defenders in the game, I think he best used by us as a forward, therefore 2023, itâs Petty & VanRooyen key forwards. No room for B. Brown. Desperately needed, another quality small forward to combine with Pickett, neither Spargo nor Neal-Bullen do enough in this role. Not best 23 for 23. Shop SALEM around. GAWN looks worn out, maybe carrying injury or maybe heâs on the downward spiral, so getting Grundy might be the right call after all.- Lloyd Meek
What about a separate Interchange or Sub bench for Rucks ?- Training Ground?
Whilst I would much prefer our âWorld classâ training facility to be near the MCG it appears we have âmissed the boatâ. Time to go All In at Casey.- CHANGES: SF vs Brisbane
Iâll remind you. You ridiculed someone for their opinion ( omitting Neal-Bullen ) only to agree with that same opinion one week later.- CHANGES: SF vs Brisbane
I needed the clarification, although I see you still didnât say , YES Neal -Bullen omitted. Furthermore, pleased to see you eventually came around to agree with my âstilted opinionâ ( your words ) albeit one week and one loss too late.- CHANGES: SF vs Brisbane
NEAL-BULLEN Are you saying he should be dropped ?- CHANGES: SF vs Brisbane
Re :- your reply in Changes v Sydney thread Just wondering whether youâve changed your mind about Neal-Bullen ?- Trade and Free Agency rumours
- CHANGES: QF vs Sydney
To all Demonland âdevoteesâ of NEAL-BULLEN, could you please advise the following, - Rate, out of 10, his Offensive output, ie disposals, goals, assists. - Rate where he would sit ( 1-22) on form , in the 22 for this season. - In nearly 150 games, how many times would he have been in the best 11/ best 50%. - Other than âtrying hardâ, ( something every player should be doing, and more) what is his real worth to the team ?- Footy Classified
Iâve âbaggedâ plenty over the years without using any expletives or even at times, raising my voice. Bagging, slagging AKA criticising. Each to their own.- Footy Classified
I beg to differ. In my world of 6 + decades they have always been the same thing. Ps. At a game, have you ever expressed disapproval of an umpireâs decision ?- CASEY: Rd 21 vs Carlton
If required, Turner is already a more than adequate replacement for Lever.- CHANGES: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
What Iâd like is Harmes for Neal Bullen Bowey for Spargo Smith or Van Rooyen for B. Brown Hunt to the wing, Jordon to midfield rotations. What will happen, No Change- POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Iâd like to see Hunt played off the wing, replacing Jordon who can fold into the midfield rotations.- Welcome to Demonland Lachie Hunter

âPressure Actsâ are stats for stats sake. 1.2 points for âcorrallingâ , big deal. If ANB is to be so well regarded for his âpressure actsâ and leadership, and not winning the ball, disposing it well and hitting the scoreboard, then lets start officially counting the number of fumbles and poor choices he makes.- CHANGES: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Adjudicating and then tallying âPressure Actsâ is laughable. Stats for stats sake. 1.2 points for âcorrallingâ , struth ! May as well give them a point for running to the bench. ANB Vastly more valuable to the team by winning the ball and using it well than knocking up cheap stats for chasing an opponents ar.. I thought it was a non negotiable that every player gives his all, which includes chasing etc.- CHANGES: Rd 22 vs Carlton
IMO , stats for âPressure Actsâ are very overrated , ie. 1.2 points for âCorrallingâ All players must bring more to the table than just applying pressure. Where would ANB sit on a League table for Fumbles and/ or being caught with the ball ? - Farewell Jayden Hunt
