  1. David King on Sen just hauled Cornes over the coals for his comments around this incident. Said if it was any other club Cornes would have come down on them like a tonne of bricks (100% true imo). Went hard at him. Well played Kingy. Turns out the club doctor is a close friend of Cornes. All he had to do was state this upfront and decline to comment on the matter. Nothing wrong with standing by a mate. Nobody expects an objective comment if talking about personal friends so best not to comment at all.
  2. My preference is to win the flag. I would like to beat the pies in the granny to win it, preferably by 100 points. Crushing Port in a QF at the G would be very satisfying also. Not fussed who we knock over in the prelim but have a sneaky feeling it could be the Giants.
  3. This would never happen at our club. Goody wouldn’t allow it.
  4. I don't know which is worse. Float the rules as this doctor obviously has (and the club). there's a pattern here. Or claim it was a mistake and prove he is grossly incompetent. Either way, he should probably lose his job.
  5. I reckon we’ll run over the top of Carlton and win by 5-6 goals. Sydney at the SCG is the danger game. And I think buddy not playing is a help to the swans rather than a hindrance.
  6. Kane Cornes is hopelessly biased. Anything he says about Port should be ignored. Most other pundits try to be balanced about their former club but not Cornes. I don’t mind him in general but he’s just a mouthpiece when it comes to Port.
  7. I've watched a few GC games this year. He's developing nicely. Was all at sea first couple of games but reads the play much better now. can mark the ball. The Dees connection is there so we should keep him on the radar.
  8. My preference is to finish second and play home finals at the G. And i think we will.
  9. So true. as soon as a client starts telling me how honest they are i get suspicious.
  10. Arrogance. Your average doctor has a healthy ego.
  11. Give rest a rest
  12. No they're not. They're on a 17-game losing streak and just got beaten by the eagles.
  13. He's come a long way from smoking a ciggie on the way to work. He trains like a savage and has built a huge tank. He burns off other ruckmen through sheer aerobic capacity. They just can't stay with him. Nic Nat might have rivalled him over the journey but he couldn't resist the burger and fries.
  14. sorry sorry sorry
  15. You think he can't handle a return flight to Tassy. Righteo
  16. I know all that Einstein. why give him a break when he obviously doesn't need one is my point. So big brain, why do you think he needs a break after playing his 2 best games of the year?
  17. Port club doctor has a lot to answer for. He has a duty of care which he failed to uphold. He and the club need to be held to account
  18. Who are you and what have you done with the real Old Dee.
  19. Max has put in 2 fantastic performances. Why on earth would you rest him and jeopardise his form. If he was in bad form and looked tired, fair enough, but that’s not the case at all.
  20. A danger game this is not. North were beyond putrid in the first half against us. Really pathetic. We would have won by 130+ points if we hadn’t taken our foot off the gas.
  21. When the whips were cracking yesterday, Maxy stood tall. If he keeps playing like this he'll be AA ruckman again this year.
  22. I reckon a lap of honour before the rd 24 game. Hopefully his retirement doesn’t inspire the swans for that game.
  23. Could he be a future Dees forwards coach perhaps?
  24. Great player. Sad he doesn't get a farewell game, but he did have the joy of experiencing the fanfare around his 1000th goal last year.
