Fair call. They did bring effort. there should never be 100 point wins. Only happens if teams stop trying and capitulate. When we played north they weren’t trying and only for a late flurry of goals in junk time we would have won the game by the tonne.

May said after the game the Hawks jumped us after half time. Thats how it looked to me as well. Those 3 quick goals fired them up and got them into the contest for the quarter. Outside of that purple patch they were very ordinary. We were pretty much doing as we pleased. A very straight forward win. As an aside, I don't think Gary Lyon should commentate on Dees games. He was painful early in the 3rd when Hawks got on top briefly.

Other than injuries no change. Trac after the game said the was no problem with the ankle so i expect he'll play against Port. Would dearly love to see BBB and TMAc find some form. Can't see Petty, JVR and Max/Grundy carrying this team to victory come September.

True but you can only beat what's in front of you. We have a proper bloc of games from here to the bye. Port, a resurgent Freo, Carlton and Pies. We'll know a lot more after those games.
