This thread has been a real hoot. Schadenfreude is so satisfying. From my perspective its been worth trading Jackson purely for the joy of laughing at Freo. Life will be a little emptier next season without the death ride. I reckon we should trade another player to Freo or another club this trade period for their future picks so we can keep this death riding show on the road.

We could go unbeaten this season! Winning the flag is all that matters but we’ve been super consistent the past 2 seasons only losing the odd game to either the crows or lions. They’ve been weakened while we’ve consolidated. It would be a massive achievement but I won’t be surprised if we don’t drop a game.

McKay of Carlton could be a long shot. The blues list is lobsided so they may decide convert him into picks to address some needs. There hasn’t been a murmur so very unlikely but you never know. His kicking is a lottery but Chocco would sort him out.

Kate was fantastic in the latter part of last season and was instrumental in our premiership win. She’ll be a great captain. I had to research who Rhiannon watt was. Huge endorsement of her leadership to include her in the leadership group when she hasn’t played a game for us yet. Looking forward to seeing her debut.

If he is gettable I would be 100% be in favour. I highly doubt he is unfortunately. The eagles are rebuilding so makes no sense for them to trade their best young KPF

Maxy was our best player. His tap work in particular was top drawer. Dropped a couple of marks he would usually snaffle but other than that was very good.

I don’t think the FD are playing games. I presume the hospitalisation due to infection significantly impacted his conditioning and delayed his return. frustrating for sure but the silver lining is he’ll be raring to go and cherry ripe for finals
