  1. It's good for business. Those weapons manufacturers are very profitable enterprises.
  2. The Port win was huge. We showed a steely resolve not seen since 21. I've been buzzing since Sat night. that win has given me great belief about our chances this year. i expect a tough battle. Crows have no choice other than full throttle effort. the locals will drive them out of town otherwise. but they have been genuinely putrid so far this season. there whole game style has collapsed. Walker is not right, Thilthorpe out. They can't kick goals. We'll batten down the hatches and weather the early storm. Maxy and our mids will wrestle control and set us on our way. Fritschy BB and JVR with a couple will kick the goals for us. Dees by 25 points.
  3. In non-mfc games i'll be barracking hard for the Dogs, Freo and Hawks this weekend.
  4. Playing with broken ribs won’t make the injury worse (unlike other injuries). It’s a question of pain management and whether he can withstand the pain or not. I reckon he has a high pain threshold.
  5. May is one tough hombre. Fatigue my big concern. would have thought some fresh legs in order given the short turnaround from a taxing game on saturday night but i trust the FD. It will be a battle. The crows will throw the kitchen sink at us. they have to otherwise their fans will turn feral.
  6. there'll be no complacnecy. recent history against the Crows will ensure that enemy territory, hostile crowd, playing a team getting the blowtorch treatment. It's going to be a battle. I've no doubt. 5 day a concern but Crows have had to travel back from Perth apply ourselves like we did against Port and we should win. I i reckon we will.
  7. Seriously. That wizard kid needs to lose that nickname. How tf did he miss that
  8. Great mark
  9. Beat up on the bad teams and home ground advantage
  10. Ah frostball. My heart doesn’t miss it. hes playing well though. Close to their best I reckon
  11. Suits us if they beat the cats but otherwise I hope they languish for years to come.
  12. Mitchell needs to be careful. 2 seasons in and serving up this dross won’t go down well with the faithful, rebuild or not.
  13. Some of the hawks play has been comically bad
  14. Hawks looking very ordinary so far.
  15. Great player Hawkins. He’s one of the main reasons the cats have defied gravity for so long. He’ll be very hard to replace. I have to say though I won’t be sorry to see the back of him when he does hangs up his spurs.
  16. Montagna one of the few pundits I bother to listen to anymore
  17. Got me. Read the title and was ready to type a furious post
  18. I'll be hoping the Hawks can pull out a performance today and beat the Cats. Not overly confident though. Hawks have been underwhelming thus far.
  19. He was not quite right against Port but still dominated in the last quarter. Not sure we would have won without him. Can't take the Crows lightly. When do we ever have an easy game against them at AO? They'll be getting the blowtorch treatment all this week so will come out fighting. It's going to be a tough game. Clarry has to and will play.
  20. Great to see Adelaide floundering for 2 reasons: 1. It might make Petty rethink being traded to them; 2. If he insists on joining them, it looks like we'll get a top 10 draft pick in the trade.
  21. Richmond are a chance here. Playing really well. Go tiges
  22. Watching the last quarter of the NBL final between Jack jumpers and united. Game 5 decider. It’s down to the wire.
  23. Tiges have had a crack but I expect the swans to pull away in the second half.
  24. Zero sympathy for the eagles. An arrogant footy club. An extended period at the bottom might them and their supporters some humility
  25. We could look back on this week in Adelaide as providing the platform for our flag tilt. Back-to-back wins in SA will work wonders for belief and confidence.
