THANK YOU FROM DEMONLAND
Thanks team, in many ways you Demonlanders are like family…often it’s the crazy uncle we don’t make eye contact with, but family all the same.

Or the trade table at least. What's a future AA running HB worth? Pick 11 sounds like a good start.

Sure, but Bailey Smith hadn't played in two years due to injury and the Dogs wanted him gone by the time his contract was up. What he was going to do in '25 was speculative when it came time to do a deal. We clearly wanted to keep Judd and he is a best 22 player. It's objectively a bigger loss for us than either Smith or Daniel were to the Dogs. I'd be comfortable drafting a replacement w/pick 25 in last years draft (North are clearly operating with a different set of values given the amount of draft capital they've held as well), but pick 30 something is a shot in the void this year. By the time you get there 9-10 players already tied to clubs will have been bid on. A third of the best kids in the crop will not be accessible and we'll struggle to see 50 kids taken in total. So are you suggesting we approach the trade deal eager and happy to take 29 because it's the closest to fair in your eyes? How do you want the Dees to approach?

Add that WC & Carlton will get band 1 compensation for Allan and TDK's free agency departures and some chance that Draper nets band 1 as well.

100%. With WC holding pick 1 in the PSD, that gives us that little bit of leverage. The draft pool being what it is, we lose little by holding the line on our trade demands for McVee.

Next year is projecting to be a heap better than this year. Pick 29 may as well be pick 55 this year. If we can do a deal for 11, would much rather a future 2nd. If Freo are poaching him, they need to pay up. It’s on them to get the deal done.

Can't imagine he'd be keen given his very highly rated little brother's about to come in through the GC Academy.

Around 5 I reckon. Both Taylors, Robey, Greeves & Dovaston.- NON-MFC: Finals Week 02
Yep, it's all over now, Old Peninsula have won their 1st VAFA premiership.- NON-MFC: Finals Week 02
LET'S GO NUGGET! Hopefully Jonesy can snag himself a premiership today.- Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
So Sam Edmund was on to something?- Farewell Judd McVee
Wonder who's in the mix? Sullivan Robey is bolting and probably hitting that top 10 range now after a couple of big performances in CTL finals.- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?

Jake lives down the road from me. Seriously talented. He’s in the ‘27 draft crop, good chance to be Tassie bound.- 2026 AFL National Draft prospects: The batch after the next
Pickett has a bit Curnow about how he plays, has looked very good as a bottom ager. A long way out, but Jake Miller projecting well enough to be Tassie bound unforts.- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
What's your take on Fred Rodriguez @Pennant St Dee ? Jumped up last year, came in with a higher profile, but seems to have slid a bit as the year's gone on.- Wade Derksen
Yep OOC. Historically we've managed to deal with GWS fairly amicably, I think they put the foot down with Derkson because they got picked off in the free agency market and their depth took a hit.- Trade Targets
Apparently a Victorian club is into Chesser as midfield depth, hope it’s us. Apparently was in the mix for us in his draft year (along with Wilmot & Brown). - 2025 AFL Draft - Coates Talent League
