I think we need to take as many positives out of todays game as possible. At least GWS have dethroned us to take out the most recent horrendous finals performance.

Was by no means disgraced today, but had very little impact on the game which could be said for all bar Tim Taranto. Completely agree that he doesnt set the world on fire, but I dont think anyone should be expecting him to be a match winner or game breaker week in and week out. Could add a lot in freeing up other players to play more match-winning roles due to his versatility across the ground. But once again the price has to be right for a player of that type and I hope to god we arent paying out the behinds for him just because he’s keen on us.

Good on him, but nothing has really showed for it apart from our first 2 finals last year and the won against the eagles in Perth. Culture isnt built overnight, but there is barely a noticeable difference over the last few years.

Well he certainly isnt coming to us for as much as he’s on now, which one would imagine would have to be above the average $370k given how consistently he’s been a best 22 player at the giants. Would reckon management would be asking in the realm of half a mil

Not sure where people are pulling this ‘great character’ aspect to our playing group. We are about as boring and souless as you could get as a footy club. Sure the fair majority are good blokes, but they are about a vanilla group as you get. The only narrative currently driving us is how consistently awful we’ve been for nearly 60 odd years.
