I'm a Jackson fan, think he'll be something unique for us. There's no rush though is there? Let's develop him at a natural rate. We've seen this story too many times as Dees fans already.

OUT: Jones, Jackson, Smith IN: Pickett, Weideman, OMac Lever and Smith together won't work IMO. Feels more settled when we have May, Lever and OMac, even though I'm not a huge OMac fan. Bit of a toss up between Jackson and TMac, but I think the combo of TMac and Weid is a better option at this stage and you back your senior players to find form longer than a first year player.

He got his car crash out the way before arriving at Marvel. Most of his team mates saved it for game time.

Brilliant from the Demon Army.
-
If true, does that mean Smith forward? Or perhaps a late change with Weid in with the questions on Lever's soreness?
-
Awesome, thanks mate!
-
Yeah, gut says Bedford for sure, but wouldn't be against Lockhart, although there's unconfirmed reports he's missing the game due to a borderline injury/soreness. Can we choose from non-emergencies still?
-
Because of the time frame, are we able to bring in someone from outside the emergencies? Would think either ANB or Bedord come in, but the remaining emergencies are Hibberd, Weid and Jordan.

It's as a forward.

Think it was back in 2018 I remember Goody (or possibly one of the assistants) saying they don't bother much with positions for the team sheet, it's basically just a list of names to them.
-
He's an underrated kick in general IMO. Was rated as our best field kick by an intricate (and fair) ratings system in 2019.
-
That's my concern also. Clearly our forward entries had not changed at all in round 1, and now we're looking at Oliver, Brayshaw, Viney, Langdon & Hunt being among the main kicks going inside 50. Fingers crossed Petracca, Melksham and Bennell get the ball plenty.
-
Can't verify 100%. but was some talk going around Lockhart was 50/50 due to injury or soreness.
-
Was a tough period for supporters, but we didn't exactly cover ourselves in glory with how we treated a kid we drafted.

If only people were as passionate about racism for the last 200 years as they have been about a pandemic for the last 3 months...

Seems like the right amount or so. We've got Bennell, Jackson and Rivers locked in, Smith, Salem and Jones as almost definites, then possibly Weid, vandenBerg, Hannan, Hunt, Sparrow all around the mark to choose from. Feels like a lot at first, but then you think it's basically another round 1 given the break.

Without continuing too much with this quickly derailing thread, away from the tele he's actually one of the most boringly normal people you'd ever meet. My opinion is he has to be a bit more 'out there' on tv given it's, well, tv, and also because he has to contrast/deal with the conservative commentators they often have on the show. Anyways, 'left or right' will be the death of us all so I'm going to check out for now. Have a good one mate!
-
One thing I will say though, he's a nifty guitarist. (Think I've had my political fill for the day)
-
Didn't say anything about Waleed. Didn't say anything about believing every word he says. Didn't say either 'left' or 'right' get everything right. Just pointing out the ridiculousness of implying right wing commentators don't have a platform.
-
Yeah there's a real absence of right-wing opinions in the media hey.... ?

I really like Smith too, my only worry is having both he and Lever playing maybe gives us too many intercept types? Not sure how I feel about OMac on Casboult. Casboult is so good on the lead, I think he'd have a day out on OMac, perhaps Smith on Casboult is a better matchup? Not really sure what to think about it all to be honest, given the ins at the moment it feels like it will be a very different type of setup at this stage, so bit hard to guess. Also - some whispers around Lockhart might not be 100% fit to play. Apparently borderline with an injury/soreness of some kind.
