Our top end Is slightly better bu my their talent bats deeper.
-
I rate him as a player. Hard at it, honest player.

I figure through all the cyber attacks we have already had, most criminal enterprises have pretty much everyone’s details anyway.

Adelaide off a 5 day break with pressure rating of 200.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

Cant wait to raid Freo's talent in a few years time. Assuming they use all their pics on Vic talent. -
How old are his twin brothers? Can we possibly break a record and have 3 White's playing at the one time for the same club? All KPP (CHB, Ruc, CHF)!

Tell me about it. But we have history, legends like Gawn, Trac, Viney, and multiple AA. We play at the homeland of footy every second week. Recent premiers. With all due respect to the Suns they have nothing to offer. And oh dad played over 200 big ones and loves the club.

i mentioned earlier that the BLues have yet to have a 5 day break either whilst many in the comp have had 1-2 already. Tell me who the AFL is supporting without telling me who the AFL is supporting

I think TMac is actually the ideal matchup. Cameron isnt as agile as many think, but will concede he is more athletic than TMac. Jezza's strengths are his tank, strength and finishing. TMac can match him in 2/3 and if successful render the 3rd skill ineffectual.

Game plans, tactics and all that jazz

Not quite in agreement with this but you are not far off. Our problem of years gone by is we are not creative going into 50. Now you can debate system and method as reasons why, but we always butchered our i50 kicking by bombing it long when there were clearly better options. This is why we got Billings as a HF. To me, having both talent by foot at HB and HF is the magical formula, because you can create the transition by using the space and move it quickly and use the HF kicking to hit targets. You are right about Trac in that when we get out the back, he is much more accurate in putting the kick (with precision) in the space behind the defence. -
If he is a Melbourne boy how does he get to the GC academy? They are really taking the [censored] after stealing one of our academy prospects in MAC. There is no symmetry in this comp and it annoys the hell out of me.

Overlooked Brayshaw. Changes my view slightly, but it has given Howes an opportunity to develop.
-
And it can’t be an extra year at 100k. It has to an eye watering offer akin to how Liv steal PGA tour players .
-
if he isn’t the GWS starting team should we really be looking at this player? We really should be looking to take someone that will immediately improve our top end. KPF / midfielder etc. Our defence is solid and isn’t really an issue area. So pass for mine.

This is a joke. There is no duty of care for one own safety…. Unless you are Gus Brayshaw then you are not allowed to take a step onto your supporting foot post kick when Maynard is attempting a smother from 4m away.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

I’m going to come out and say that no Yze in the Top 30 should temper expectations on what the kid may or may not be able to do. Best of luck to the young fella as it’s not Yze making it to the AFL. -
Reopening this thread 11 years on. Do you give the guy a 3 year contract (2+1 contingent on games played) ? Looks to be back in shape and form. And The Couch mentioned Eagles are holding off contract talks. If Im Yeo question is do I want potential success and money (at Dees) or comfort and losses. Would immediately add to our ball movement and is measurably better than Hugh McCluggage. Always loved him as footy player.

Our favourite columnist and tv journo (Ralphy) reporting that Adelaide have out their 2 first rounders (this year and next) on the table for Will Hayward. Tells me: 1) They are not dealing for Petty this year. He may just walk next year if we let him. 2) Haywards asking trade price is going to be way too high for what he is worth.

He said “one things that is clear…” (about the AFL and concussion) about 20 times

The Drums are starting to beat for North
Gawndy the Great replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
McGuire is an [censored] but I don’t disagree on most points. The league doesn’t need 19 teams. But just because Norf are a scraping the barrel at the moment isn’t fair game though. -
it is, but no matter how good they try, it is near impossible to sustain. They will eventually fall off a cliff. Danger and Tomahawk will retire this year. Not much left for Tuohy and Blicavs as well. Jezza and Stewart wrong side of 30. It will happen and the youth arn't all they are talked up to be. Take away 4/6 players above and they are 9-14 side.
-
No he wont. They'll do the Blicavs and Stanley rotation which will neutralise the ruck for most of the night. Its on Page 1 of Scott's how to beat MFC playbook. Even if Max does manage to edge in front, Scott will throw a blanket on Trac and trust Guthrie to monster Oliver so well likely lose any hit-out advantage that Max can create. The Viney matchup will be interesting. I think they'll go with Holmes to exploit his lack of pace. Expect Petty to do a number on Stewart, its the least he can do given he is out-of-form. Getting a Henry-Turner matchup will be a good thing as will JVR on Koladskneejkhp (not even bothering to spell check).

7PM match at the GABBA on Sunday night? Seriously htf did that get through to the final fixture?

Lots of vote stealing at GWS. Only player in Tom Green on the leaderboard. Very even contribution and spread of talent....scary.
