So they’ll get a serve from the media this week, have a half hearted 2 1/2 quarter performance against the Lions and capitulate, then will play us with shot confidence the week after. Mind you we maybe using the Casey top up players by the way things are going.

What difference does it make? He has COVID after he most likely developed symptoms this arvo. What is becoming increasingly clearer though is that RATs and daily testing using RATs are pointless. The club could have easily avoided an outbreak had the AFL employed PCR testing as the preferred method of testing. understand it’s a bit more logistically challenging, and more expensive but in our case would have probably avoided this mess.

Secrets to Knock Off Unstoppable Dees
Gawndy the Great replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Its hardly a new conundrum. It boils down to is a strong offence better than a strong defence. We have seen this battle of strategies across all sports in the modern era. To beat the Demons, a lot of things need to go right, particularly if you have an offensive game-plan. It is the right game plan to beat us, but requires near perfect execution. -
Hopefully all 4 are cherry ripe for the Saints.

https://player.whooshkaa.com/episode?id=987312 listening to it now. its neither here or there. Doesnt confirm that its just the 3 but doesnt say its anymore either. Just takes the conservative approach and says that we are waiting to see if anything more develops today, which is a sensible response as you dont want to say its just the 3 but then have more develop symptoms or return a positive result throughout the day. i choose to look at this a bit more optimistically.

What They Are Saying at Glenferrie Oval
Gawndy the Great replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
But our game plan is designed to burn these types of strategies by turn over. For the Hawks and any team for that matter that has an attacking style gamble plan needs an extremely high level of effective disposal for it to penetrate our defensive system. It forces the other team to take a high risk high reward approach in order to beat us. It is usually not sustainable for long periods -think Adelaide last year and their aggressive positioning and break neck speed ball movement. Doggies 2Q in the GF etc. My opinion is that we want teams to play like this knowing that we can sustain the pressure when it comes and prey on their mistakes as they will most definitely make them. -
