  1. Trac has had 118 disposals in his last 3 official games. 39.3 avg.
  2. Stand tall Bowey. Great game. He is so poised with the ball in hand off half back and will be an AA half backer in the next 2-3 years. Trac, LJ, Oliver terrific. Better today from Kozzy. Another solid hit out from Tommo and J Smith. Spargs and Hunt on the outer. Sparrow, JJ and at TMac have to be on notice with two stinkers in a row.
  3. Seriously was that a mark?
  4. Pull the finger out boys. Sleep at the wheel.
  5. Let them have the spotlight I say, will make for a more interesting and impactful fall from grace. They are way over balanced with the offensive side of things. In the past 3 games they looks blistering in the first half and then meh in the second. In all 3 they nearly got overrun and their defence got really exposed. 5 pts to an underman and out umpired Dees in a praccy, couple of goals to an injured Tigers and last night was another couple with an inaccurate Doggies. They certainly do have the cattle though but are probably 1-2 seasons away from really embedding the defensive mindset and selflessness that it takes to win the big dance. It took us 3 years from 2018 to realise and address our weaknesses. Not going to happen for the Blues in 3 months. Can’t wait to play them in the season proper though.
  6. Doggies lacked the firepower to take that game back. Clearly a few players not right tonight either. Blues look good but early days.
  7. where is the 50 for remonstration?
  8. Blues will run out of puff. Just you watch. Important for the Dogs to stay within 4-5 goals.
  9. Anyone else already sick of the Carlton hype? We went 10-0 and didn’t get this much hype. nevertheless they are going all out every week. Can’t see them lasting a full season with this intensity.
  10. it doesnt look that bad, but it will be wet as you say and with dodgy groundball skills in the backline being an area of vulnerability .. this will most likely be their plan of attack. Hopefully Goodwin is ready.
  11. Will also be some interesting matchups in the midfield. Miller - Trac Rowell - Oliver Brayshaw - Anderson Just to name a few. Should be a good game I think.
  12. Also expect a scrap of a game due to the humidity. They have a few good players now in that midfield. Expect them to play with a point to prove.
  13. Yup. I think we have their talls covered with Tommo, May and Smith. Who takes Rankine Hunt or Rivers?
  14. diabolical. Way I see it, AFL will intervene and reinstate the suspension.
  15. He’s not in drop territory but he is definitely not his offensively impactful self. Last couple of games have been less than average. His defensive efforts are probably what’s keeping him in the team for now and Goody won’t easily drop anyone that contributes on that front. However with Bedford and Chandler waiting in the wings, Kozzy would want to lift sooner rather than later.
  16. Especially given how much he copes in the contest. Just about every marking contest he gets whacked in the head. But the big fella gets up and carries on like the champ he is.
  17. Doesn’t look like either of these teams will finish top 4 with this display. Bring the heat and both of these teams will crumble. Nothing has changed since last year.
  18. Cats will run out of puff later in the season. They always start pretty good. But I’m pretty surprised at how bad Essendon is. They are making the cats look better than they are.
  19. Thanks for the clarification.
  20. Biggest arm chop ever and Razor was dead set right in front of it. Won’t be talked about how that changed the result 2 goal swing, game done.
  21. Their pressure is really down from when they were having a good run in 2020. It takes really dedication and commitment to play a high pressure game style. Dare I say they have the personnel to really burn you on turnover… just lack the intensity at the moment.
  22. If our own Benny Gibson put on 20 kegs he’d be a spitting image of John Noble i reckon.
  23. I remember a team mate with a torn meniscus was about 6 weeks with surgery way back when i was a junior soccer player. With advancements and access to better medical practices nowadays, they may have shaven that back a few more weeks. hard to say how similar this type of injury is though.
