CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I was expecting a big response tonight and bar a handful of players not many gave even a yelp. We are bleeding and key injuries and bad form have robbed us from building any team connection. But FMD something has to be said about these umpires. Swans gifted two wins in as many weeks.

I like all 3. We have to play Dogga or Max in f50 all game. Daw can chop out #1 ruck until Bbb finds some form.

Have you seen our draw coming home? With this form I ain’t so confident we can bank 4 wins let alone 7.

With this display top 4 is starting to look in doubt.

0 pts from turnover. We have been figured out. out coached 2nd week running. We will get spanked next week too. Tmac going down is going to define this season as he was the only key forward looking dangerous and that is saying something.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Sydney
Anything said on 360 or any media platform wouldn’t surprise an afl coach. These guys know much more than what is discussed and if they don’t, then they are not in the right job.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Sydney
The funniest thing he said on First Crack was this was evident in the last few weeks. But the last few weeks he was saying it’s Melbourne then, Flemington straight, then everyone else.

Taylor Walker
I’m torn about this. If it was about pure skill and impact. He is what we need right now as we don’t have time to wait for JVR or others to develop. Walker is a great CHF. Does he have it in him for another 1-2 years? He would be pretty cheap too I’d imagine it’s his history and character that could destabilise our culture. The stuff he said to Lever can be worked through but his recent indiscretions and racist remarks is a bit harder to swallow. But everyone deserves a second chance.

Hypothetical Victorian Team 2022
Hopefully that scratches Angus’s itch to play with his brother.

Gawny on Channel 7
No media coverage in the past 2 months because it’s boring that we keep winning. We lose an AA FB our other AA midfielder is firing on 1 cylinder (V8) and we lose a game - admittedly with a 10 goal swing - and every footy show and analyst is now finally talking about us. How pathetic.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Jackson has been underperforming this year has had only a handful of good games by his standards so far. I wonder whether the drop in attitude is anything to go by. I dare say if he keeps this up I’ll be starting to turn on all of this trade nonsense.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Sydney
These are all big inclusions. I think Salem will come back via VFL given lack of match fitness. Rewatching the game, I think it took Longmuir a half to work out that Trac was not fit and then he tagged Oliver knowing that we had no other clearance specialist. This is how the game turned and why Trac was switched to the forward line. It’s a one off but we do need another player that can come in to that role as Dunstan and Sparrow are just not elite in that area. I think the reason we lost was this simple. Even if May stayed in I’m not sure we could have held the lead but we wouldn’t have lost by 38 at least. So with a fitter Trac and the inclusions, I’m hoping for a good, solid response this week to put a line through some of the ? starting to develop.

Farewell Sam Weideman
Not everybody can grow into an AFL player. It’s cut throat and you need some mongrel, some aggression and an extremely high desire to succeed. I think Sam is very talented footy wise, great kick of the ball, fast on his feet and can clunk a mark here and there, but he lacks in the character attributes described above, which you cannot teach or learn. I think he will get dropped and now falls behind M. Brown and possibly JVR as our forward line depth.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
A tale of two halves really and what was the most disappointing was our complete lack of engagement in the 3rd. We were soulless, leaderless, gutless and clueless. I can’t put my finger on it but nobody was brave enough to do something about it. Our mids were always caught offensive side and we failed to have a sweeper that could ready the play to mop up. D50 stocks were underdone with May and Petty looked unfit. Watch now how all teams stack up tall - bring in Tommo and let Lever play his natural game. Forward line connection is a complete mess. We have forgotten how to use the corridor and our turnover game is hopeless. It was our first real test and I’m saying we failed and failed quite badly. Can’t say I was surprised at the result but didn’t expect that level of capitulation - they just gave up. We got Melbourned.
