POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs St. Kilda
That will never happen. The Marvel games are the lesser Clubs and we have an historical link that the AFL would not break. We have requested no hosting games at Marvel and the AFL are on board. I think the attendances at the G which average 44,500 with poor support from Dogs Lions and Saints under 10,000 plus Cats about 12/15,000. If we had beaten WC we would have had another 5,000 yesterday. The figures are good for the teams we are playing ( except Cats) as years ago we regularly got about 25,000 of our fans. Now it’s mostly around 35,000 and with blockbusters vs Dons and Pies 75/88000 plus is likely to either. We need to get near as 35,000 or more at Port GWS and North and 30,000 at WC really. Let’s remember Saints form is not good and no player magnets drawing fans of the opp teams. Our overall result would be only about 20/25,000 below for the 10 games averaging 48,000 for home games very near the Plan for an average of 50,000 in 2020. That will be the extra 2,500 each game either we or our opposition could/ should be getting.over the 10 games at home.

Sunday footy show - Who is the greatest Demon of all time?
That’s not true. There is plenty of skill in leadership and toughness it’s not all talent on its own. Was Robbie as good a Capt as Maxy No was he as tough as Neiter probably for his size and weight. So all things make a player great including talent skill etc. It’s a package that’s what makes it so difficult.

20th AFL Team
Overreaction. They are no worse than we were in 2013/14 and have been smashed by a freak run of injuries. Notably they don’t seem to have even thought of a review of their injury demise or their high performance dept. its not dissimilar to Eagles situation also where the list fading has been underestimated and a surplus of all types of injury had accelerated their demise. It’s one of the best things in a way when a former powerhouse has a few years to ponder how life is from the bottom up. You don’t often hear much from them for a year or two either as their arrogance subsides in the reality of the real world of an AFL battler on the field.

Really it’s only a name the AFL would not be stopped or afraid to do it but luckily this suggestion is about as live a possibility as the previously real Tassie Devil.

Depends upon who is Coach maybe but you are correct on what should happen.

2024 Injury List
Well the two selections were made in successive games by our Club it’s just that there was 6 months between games!! Last years semi and opening round 2024. Both were massive disasters. Perhaps Charlie should have been Sub for OR 2024 in hindsight and Schache played in that game. .

No move on.

Training Ground?
How many locations have the Club knocked back after serious consideration over the last 3/40 years please? List locations and the year knocked back please .

Training Ground?
You don’t think Dingley and The Hanger have some wind to contend with? Are you forgetting all or most Under 18 recruits into AFL train on unprotected ovals throughout the Country before AFL. And don’t recall you complain about the wind at Casey in 2021 after we won the flag, other negatives about horses especially PK are ignorance not based in any facts or knowledge of the design of the facility, and the last mountain made from a molehill is querying the club on its need for 4 teams to have access to these facilities. The underrated nature of which some D/lers treat our AFLW and even VFL teams is a disgrace. To attract top players and to get modern facilities is totally necessary as professionalism is increased is a must not a choice. Our standards are not up for discussion in 2024 or 2034 either.

If it was Pendlebury I would be more certain of a success and value for money either in the centre on the ball or half forward or back. Get him as a Coach at the same time for 2 years like Hodge and Mitchell.

PREGAME: Rd 10 vs West Coast
How long have you seen Maysie crash forward packs in the AFL for Melbourne?? 5, 10 or 15 minutes total in his 100 games certainly not on the last 50/60 for sure. If we need such a n upsetting the defence move to gains in the forward line at the start of a game then that sends a real upshot of absolute panic in our team against a bottom team. You only need to see how we still are vulnerable when one of our 4 or 5 AA mids or defenders gets injured during a game to abandon such a knife in the foot such as this suggestion. Switch around our forwards and mids because it’s fast area if the ground thst causes us more grief than any mother. Only if it’s later in the game maybe May and Petty could swap if as a last resort is needed. But it’s most likely not our defence in strife but our forwards. And our history over 4/5 years shows we win these sorts of games with a team effort.

Umpiring (Demonland in meltdown)
It’s the squeaky door syndrome pretty easy to work out. We complain or discuss loudly they will respond to keep their control of the matter.

Umpiring (Demonland in meltdown)
I would say if he wasn’t a first offender he would have been judged more harshly with a prior to his name, however let’s see the rest of the season who and what Club are judged to be fair. interesting.

CASEY: Rd 07 vs Carlton
You have answered your own question re Roy George. And wasted about 3 paras about BBB in total. BBB was named as an emergency last night so there is your answer I believe about his position. You are correct that Jefferson will develop quicker and better without too many other talls competing with him at Casey. Last week was promising and hopefully he can again produce that form and goals. Itsxa learning curve for some and very important for McAdams he played a full game this week to justify his performance for consideration for Seniors.

My 3 word player analysis V Carlton
Stafford shouldv have bee delisted after last year even though injuries were a mitigating circumstance. Thought Mini might have turned it around although our entry and some aspects are a lot better than last season. Individual training on forward skills is necessary to get that aspect up to scratch. It’s also the consistency aspect of being ON and able to kick straight.
