  1. Good call DF a Neiter clone is a great comparison. Very good solid and skilful highlights reel at both ends. No panic and will fit in to our style brilliantly. More weight needed but he is a very impressive recruit to add to a reigning premiers list for development in the next 2/3 years. Could replace any one of Tmac BBB or Maysie when required. Great get at No 19 in draft with still some guns on the radar for tonight inc. Taj and AMW.
  2. No your not right ! Jacob is from Claremont Dogga and Riv are East Freo products.
  3. What a great bangin idea !! Let's yes bang bang bang !!!
  4. I agree What you want may be better with the Shop so they deserve the cash!
  5. Quite a difference in the daily use for players and officials showing it off "privately" than the open public handling of 1to 4/5,000 each day. Think of something you value and the non lifting by the public makes absolute sense, especially in these Covid times.
  6. I agree Robbo was the best in kicking goals that's what he was there for. BUT as pointed out once he didn't take the mark that was the end of the ball game! No tackles and not any good ground ball getters ( crumbles) to mop up. Wonder how Goody would have gotten around this problem.
  7. I disagree Gerard Healy features us almost weekly on On the Couch I think he recognises us for our talent and called last year (2020) that we were not far off being a good side. Granted I don't listen to his commentary on radio at the game which can be an entirely different thing!
  8. I actually agree with you for once Dee we have some good flexibility on our list. Flexibility equals a good footballer IMO and we can never have too many of those !
  9. She has already a collection so may have got it from the online methods! Not all are waiting for all of their choices as delays on one or two items are resulting in a wait fir a full package.
  10. Salo was third or fourth best on ground and was magnificent with 96% disposal !!!
  11. I also believe Tmac did his role and Charlie all contributed. Hibbo similarly and all the defenders except Salo kept a tight rein on the Dogs forwards. Figures for some defenders weren't high but hey we kept the Dogs dangerous forwards tightly undercontrol and the mids caused us a slight problem but overall 16 shots for goal and only 3.1 in the second half was match saving footy. Nothing less than what our defence had done all year. Magnificent and elite with all contributing and Maysie proving he not only talks but he walks the walk very very competitively. A real hero's game with Naughton taking marks with all being well outside his distance. We other than our second quarter lapse played the game on our defences terms especially the first half of the third term. So much of the ball to the Dogs for so little result. Then we took or chances and bang bang bang. Result 🏆❤️💙🍾
  12. T Hanks but don't ever remember taking alcohol in to the G
  13. Where does it say about Alcohol being taken into the ground ? I think the same rules that apply to the Footy or cricket will apply for Dec 5. Bag checks will be standard as QR coding etc.
  14. You should be celebrating the life you can live in Oz not harbouring regrets and resentment for all your life. Life is still about choices but they are limited at times and we can't change some that are out of our control generally. One of life's challenges is to compartmentalise our life. Live in the moment and smell the roses. If when we hear of some bad or sad news react appropriately but try an not let it rule our week or diminish other good in your life. No doubt that is a challenge with family friends and a very new threat for some people called Covid. Sadly we have to live with it but in the future it will seem like a harsher version of the flu sometimes no doubt. Good lunch and always be positive about the Dees now mOre MFCSS if you had any!!
  15. Sorry Deegirl for calling you Cass. Glad you had a great time today.
  16. Do you mind me asking what date the photo was taken Cass? The person smiling ( we must have won!) at the back of you looks very much like me.
  17. You look a lot happier in the updated photo than the other one Cass. Was that after a loss before 1987 ? We had some shockers . Good for you .
  18. Sorry Lingers also got about the same goals but he was never in danger of demotion to anyone! Fritta with 59, Kossie 40 Tmac 33 and Trac 31 and BBB 25 we shared it around beautifully. Rounds 13-19 were a challenge but I reckon our style got too defensive at times and we got the balance and aggression spot on from Round 20 when BBB really hit his straps. Given an injury free season in 2022 I think he is a shoe in for 50 goals or thereabouts!! Team footy wins are the best and we showed how to do it best by having 23 or more good players as well.
  19. Quite right Satan Many "experts" even D/Lers don't look at the bigger picture. While Tmac and Kossie were not huge possession winners on the day they did enough team things and 1%ers to be valuable to the team. People are so turned on by the no of goals and we have the luxury of enough players good enough to get scores in team play and not necessarily huge totals. But their skill when required suits our game plan. Examples are Maxy 16 goals) Dogga 17) ANB (16) and Charlie (16) I think. When Fritta Mac and Kossie didn't score for a week or two some blockheads said their position was under threat. I don't believe FOR ONE MINUTE knowing Goodies style they were ever going to be dropped as they always played team footy! We triumphed because of our team ethos and deserved to succeed. Long May it continue!
  20. But he doesn't get the Sponsorship for Investment ! Thats important to him.
  21. Wow and the forward line is (was) our Achilles heel. BBB in my opinion had a lot to do with the forward line functioning but everyone deserves full credit.
