Hi BBP. If I remember correctly the same happened when Peter Moore played his first game for us. They hung a banner along the upper deck of the southern stand at the Punt Road end that said Moore Filth. We ended up losing that one too.

It's never nice to see quality people leave an organisation we feel they belong at. It's also no wonder he's disappointed having finally found a permanent spot in arguably the best Melbourne side ever. However, after many years at the club our coaches will have a really good idea of what he's good at, what he's not so good at, and more importantly what part of his game he's realistically likely to improve on at this stage of his career. In this industry you can't stand still.

Just watched the couple of videos uploaded by the club from last night and the first thought is that Kate Roffey is all class. Consider how she spoke about Dogga moving back west in comparison to how Adelaide spat the dummy at Rick Lever.

To be clear I don't really understand any of the permutations that get floated at this time of year but do enjoy the intrigue and speculation. If we happened to be keen on pick 7 could we get another club involved who was keen on Jack Bowes but not his large contract and in effect 'buy' the pick for say $150k x 2 years and allow that other club to get the player at a more sensible price?

I wonder whether each of these three players were at the club at different times over that ten year period without any overlap and therefore unlikely to have any connection with each other. If that happens to be the case and they have each been contacted independently as part of the review in order to hear about their experience at HFC as an indigenous player then it makes it very hard for someone to refute. I can see this being taken out of the hands of the AFL sooner rather than later considering the nature of the allegations. The question will then be asked as to how long the two senior coaches are stood down for whilst justice takes its course.
