POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
People being way too harsh on TMac. He hasn't had a proper preseason and is clearly not fully fit, then he injured himself more at the start of the match. Also it's not like we have anyone in the reserves that can be a better key forward right now. Weid struggled too, Keilty is still young and learning to be a forward, and Preuss is not fit enough right now.

Sack everyone (mega-thread)
Every year since Roos left our structures have been getting worse. I don't care that we made a prelim last year, our coaches are holding this group back.

Crystal Ball 2019: Predictions for next season
Knocked out in either prelim or grand final to Richmond. Tom McDonald to win the Coleman Four all-Australians: Gawn, Oliver, T-Mac and one of Jetta/Hibberd/May. Jones to be a borderline selection by the end of the season. Jordan Lewis to be in and out of the team. Not in best 22 when fully healthy. Biggest improvers: ANB and Joel Smith, with Viney getting back to full fitness and form. Jayden Hunt to start out of the 22 but work his way back in as Brayshaw did this year.

2019 Fixture
Honestly an unfairly difficult fixture. Double ups against Teams 1, 2, 3, 7, and 16. With the current system, the only possible way that it could have been harder would be if we played team 13 twice instead of 16.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Defenders 190cm+ Petty, OMac, Lever, Keilty, Frost, J Smith, May, Kolodjashnij Forwards 190cm+ Weideman, TMac, T Smith I know that Kolodjashnij is a flanker but I feel like we are now way too top heavy down back, while being too thin up forward. Overall I think we're now further away from a premiership and that we should have got more for Hogan. Hopefully Jason Taylor can find a bargain key forward in the draft.
