We don't have Brayshaw to step in, that's the issue. There is an effort to play him anywhere but at a centre bounce.

Inside mid depth is shallow after the main trio We really do lack a balanced midfield that can play inside but also accumulate on the wing or half fwd

You make some valid points however it is difficult for Gus to prove his worth as a pure on baller when he's never really been given a permanent role there beyond 2018. Even in 2019 when he was playing mostly on ball, from what I recall he was only usually given 65% time on ground
