Definitely opened up a bit with the eliminations of Germany, USA, Brasil. Japan/Spain have impressed me the most this tournament. predicting a Spain vs England final. But knockout football, anything can happen.
  2. its a small ground so imagine most seats would be more than adequate. I'm about to book tickets myself, excited onya Dees!

At least with Sestan they said he'll be back for end of season conditioning. Not that many games left for Casey this season so it does look a bit sinister. I know they wont do it, but wish clubs would stop Click Baiting Injury News as well.
  4. Re: Alirr not doing a test, I'm a bit ignorant here towards the testing process, but you'd assume clubs would be adequately staffed to handle simultaneous concussion testing?
  5. Think he's been involved in promising moments since his return but any forward not troubling the scoreboard will have an issue keeping their spot. Do love BBB but stylistically he doesn't always gel with the team.
  6. At first I thought Melksham was a good Sub, but Smith has versatility at both ends and some leg speed. Will be curious to see what the 22 (23) looks like when Fristch is back

I've been flip flopping on whether it is worth trading picks up for Reid. But if North do get the double gift, leaning more in favour of doing it.

https://www.wheeloratings.com/afl_stats.html good for looking at coaches vote and filtering by club/position/age/whatever We've got 3 mids in the top 25 for "Midfield" category. Good to see.
  9. Smith has that burst of speed and pack marking ability, the two things BBB isn't great at. When BBB is doing the above, it doesn't look great but he does other work which often goes unrewarded or he's impacting play even if doesn't get a touch on the ball. He did have a limited game on the weekend but still contributed. The coaches value this work but it doesn't help when Joel comes on and basically seals the game. Not sure if BBB will stay in this week, got the Tassie game in 2 weeks too.

  11. Ignoring the fact it will benefit us, the way i see it, everyone took pleasure at our misfortune, we've definitely got some credits in the bank here
  12. This is why I've delayed getting tickets to the game, everything else booked. Excited
  13. Settled for a nice blue cocktail myself, almost finished my walk home, and I only live in Richmond. Might settle for the kayo mini tonight
  14. Met up with a Brisbane Mate at half time and I believe I said Melksham was killing us. So I also apologise to the milkman

  20. Minor comment not related to the result, this is the 2nd time we've played Geelong in Retro Round and they've worn a special kit, are we ever going to bust out an old-school retro kit ?

Hopefully Brown has a good run for Casey this week. Would like to see him back in asap, would help the small forwards as well.
  22. roy11 replied to Demonland's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeh not a fan of a small forward being the sub.
