  1. Miss the days when all I needed was Foxtel and NHL Pass, now if I want to watch the same content as back then I need; Kayo (Footy/Cricket/F1), Optus Sport (EPL, FA cup) , Paramount Plus (A-League), Stan (With add on) (Champions League/Europa League), BeIn Sport (Championship, Serie A, La Liga, League Cup), Fetch/Espn Pass (NHL), AppleTV (With Add on) (MLS). I dont have all of the above as a result. Very interesting space atm, Foxtel/Binge lost WWE to Netflix and HBO seemingly want their own app. Curious to see how DAZN approach the next few years. Optus sport want to sell their rights, The A-League will look to find a new home - They really should hitch their wagon to a streaming services with more games than the occasional Matildas/Socceroos game.
  2. Is there a timeframe for this? Have that weird Fetch/ESPN Bundle, still upset the NHL stopped their season pass.
  3. A good get for the Dees AND a sponsor I can easily support, unlike Jaguar aha
  4. Have the cats crossed Clarry’s name off the board?
  5. How many games are we expecting Melk to play this year?
  6. Stan the one streaming service i don't have. DAZN about to get some more Saudi Money/funding, and theyre fairly football heavy in Europe, hopefully they come into play here.
  7. Someone did say Mason Cox walked by training the other day.
  8. Anyone with a subscription able to post the main points?
  9. Boyd will be a good backup ruckman for the Saints. AJ brought in for a different role, one which should free up JvR which will be integral to our 2025 campaign. I think (am hoping) AJ the better jigsaw piece even if he may not be the better player of the 2.

A weak and imbalanced Casey helps no one. Think Casey have brought in a few capable players this off-season which should see Casey improve, hopefully then we can get a better picture on some of the younger lads.
  11. I've already paid for the GFG and my digital membership but I usually dont pay for my MCC/MFC dual membership option until closer to the season. Spread some of these payments about a bit.
  12. Let it gooooooooooooooooo
  13. There was still plenty of public land in that area (photo above just a zoomed in one), the council said the fields were underused and investment would have assisted the area and the fields could have been used by the public when not in use by MV. So there was some benefit to the area too. Either way just highlighting the difficulty in Appeasing all stakeholders, council, community groups Finding land in established areas near home-grounds
  14. Going back to 2019 Melbourne Victory had a spot in Footscray Park basically locked in a $18m academy site where the teams would train and the women, junior teams would play etc. 4 years of planning and discussion with Maribyrnong City Council, had State Government support and then faced revolt by dog walkers and local residents. A third of the 22-hectare park was to be granted to Melbourne Victory for a 21-year lease. Victory were even going to share some of the facilities with a local women's club. Now like us, seemingly stuck in Gosch's purgatory
  15. Also worth noting; Starting from 30 November, Binge will offer live and on-demand sport, including the AFLW Grand Final, WBBL Grand Final, Men's Big Bash League, Super Netball, World Surfing League, Women's Golf, all Kayo Minis of the F1, and Fox Sports-produced magazine shows. During the winter, Binge will also broadcast NRL and AFL games on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays with no ad breaks during play. Not sure how this all works tbh.
  16. If this lad finds a way on the list, might need to change my username accordingly.
  17. is there much physicality in these "match sims" this time of year, Just curious if any lingering mental scars with trac.
  18. Picket is just trying to make room for Jeffo
  19. 'You go til you can't go no more'
  20. It upsets me as a world game enthusiast, because in my mind the #10 is for the playmaker (ala Messi, Maradona, Pele, Zidane, Ronaldinhho etc). 2 for JvR another one which upsets me, reminds me of the time i saw someone with a shirt at Old Trafford with the Number 2 and "GOAL MACHINE" as the name above it. I know this is not the rationale to take towards numbering in AFL but my mind is sidetracked.
  21. Technically he's still on the banner
  22. Slightly peculiar pick, but picks that late often speculative. Other players (former/current) derided on here for not having or showing enough mongrel, seems we've done something. At the end of the day we wanted Derksen and were offering a late pick, seems we used the late pick and got a similar player anyway. So it was clearly a void the football department wanted to fill
  23. Assumed he was mid-size-fwd cover, wonder if we'd have gone for him if Melksham hadn't done his ACL. Hasn't worked out for both parties as yet, but not drawing a line through him yet
