Alright this is a bit much now. We just had a phone call from Steven May wanting to speak to my junior membership son and thank him. "Hi is ... there? it's Steven May". What a bloody legend! When I was his age I was the only kid wearing a Dees jumper at a country footy clinic with my hero's number on the back (who won't be named) and the #%&*# gave me nothing. Should have kept it for the boy though he loves Salo.

We just received an email a few weeks ago. Just good ol' GA family members sitting with the people at the people's ground.

I went down to Casey fields with my son today for the junior members clinic. What a great day out! The players give so much time to the kids they absolutely loved it. There where hundreds of mini red and blue fans there and everyone got autographs so proud of the club for putting these on, it means a lot to all of us. Thanks Dees

I'd love to know about his journey as a young fella, coming from Darwin & finishing school at Melbourne Grammer, before heading to the GC. That's a hell of a journey for a young man, how did he cope missing family and friends? Great to meet him at the family day too, my son was stoked get his signature on his number 1!
