  1. Bailey Smith is "deeply ashamed" and will likely have a "doona day" or two in the next few weeks, so I'm sure AFL will rubber stamp a nothing penalty So be prepared for Steven May to get 6 weeks for mouthing off and getting clipped while (perfectly legally) drinking too much
  2. Have I missed something here??? 😕
  3. 21k That's abysmal Gil too busy orchestrating board fights and taken eye off the core of the game
  4. Another shocker tonight
  5. Most of the reported details were made public by club, recent reports are just restating them in a way that embellishesthem to make the story seem like a scoop and not just reporting old news, there's only been a few extra pieces of new info come to light, like the comments that were made. There were 7 player there (and not sure but maybe 2 others) They would've all told a few mates before the story came out on Tuesday or since then.So potentially 15 pr 20 people know a few details, and then rumours spread Given very little extra substance, fingers crossed there's not much else to it
  6. The bit where Gerard asks "who were the other 2 players" and he says "I'm not going to answer that, so don't ask me" ... 🙄 Does he actually know? You could ask me who was the person on the Grassy Knoll and I could say "look, dont ask me that because I'm not going to say..."
  7. Listened to it live Not much new, but McLure reported like he was there 🙄
  8. Police were quoted Tuesday IIRC Not an incident they need to look into
  9. Apart from public nature of scuffle, what is the issue here? Hurt feelings and unfriendliness is not an issue for AFL Wasn't a news story Monday, so presumably limited/no inconvenience to other parties Word that there is potential scratch on furniture at Restaurant, but that's not an AFL matter if handled maturely AFL is reacting to media, who are reacting to Melbourne announcing the incident and actions, media then blowing up a storm about team dynamics (less about the actual scuffle), so AFL needs to be seen to be proactively acting on something that is really a non issue for them...
  10. Cook thanks So fighting in the streets is no dramas with team rules... Good to know
  11. Been working all day so limited viewing here... Did Melksham also get suspended or is it simply a moot point?
  12. I suspect the penalty of 1 week may have something to do with his concussion needing an extra week 🤔 Easy to make that call if they knew he was doubtful to play
  13. Except the 3 injuries he's carrying
  14. What's the better outcome? Brisbane level? Or both Freo and Brisbane within 1 game?
  15. Glad I'm not an invested fan This umpiring is just appalling How was the below the knees goal gift.... 🤦‍♂️
  16. I'd drop F. Umbles also
  17. Whole fwd line need to sort out patterns
  18. M Brown immediately better
  19. Welcome to our fwd line...
  20. Thanks "mate" More touches and more tackle than Weid or BBB in last 3 games
  21. Brown was shi te But Weide was shi te last week, and somehow managed plenty of lead up possession in the Casey game... ?? Honestly, I cgaf if it was BBB or Weid next week, but M Brown and Fritta provided the options tonight
  22. Tonight yes But include May, and the options open up Tommo becomes 3rd tall... and we look totally different
