Dunno, mine was a genuine question We played most games early in weekend... (incl. Wed) so every possibility he's match fit- TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Don't mind it either, but not all that confident Weid will step up Who is medi-sub? Has Bedford been able to run around for Casey in recent weeks, or has he missed out on playing a few games? If he's missed out, then he should go back to Casey and someone else get a run as Sub Tomlinson is back strength with a bit of wing flex? Otherwise Melksham utility?- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
Great P15S take on The Front Bar- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
Yep as a neutral spectator it was a great game to watch and the only downside was horrible umpiring late in game- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
Agree Consistency is far more important than where you set the threshold for the decision to be paid Problem is, when you set the threshold really low the individual interpretation of dissent (which has element of subjectivity/feelings) will vary a lot - leading to worse inconsistency- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
Didnt AFL say decisions paid were correct, and there had been some "slippage" being decisions not paid (that should have been) How can Scott then say it can be up to umpires interpretation? It can't be both wrong (missed decisions) amd up to umpires to decide... Inconsistency is what infuriates people... this is designed for inconsistency, irrespective of whether you like the underlying rule or not.- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
The key issue is why are 90% (guesstimate, but would appear to be some large majority) of what AFL insists is breach of umpire dissent rules not being penalised just 5 rounds into season? "Slippage" (reported by Jon Ralph) can't account for that big an error, it must be that the rule simply doesn't make sense to the umpires, (who are supposedly receiving the dissent)- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
Hilarious 😂- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
Joh Ralph reported on OTC that the AFL have endorsed the decisions paid as correct and the (dozens of...) ones not paid have been errors by umpires and explained as "slippage" It's embarrassing for the AFL to be backing in a rule where only a few examples are being "correctly" umpired and the vast majority being ignored (and accepted as common sense by the whole football community)- 2022 List and Contract Details
Sums it up I think Hunt been a lot better last 2-3 weeks- 2022 List and Contract Details

Ugly for Port- Low Attendance
Game times Ticketing being fixed seats everywhere and tickets opening in multi-round lots 4-6 weeks in advance - my mates are useless and struggle to commit 5 days innadvance let alone being able to lock away seats many weeks in advance- POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
