  1. Preuss should just stand 20m out directly in front and wait for the aimless bombs into the forward line We kicked it there like 5 times when there was no demon in sight!
  2. Spargo should have been de-listed at half time
  3. Appeared to be reading from notes when made that comment...!! Also note Jordan Lewis named best on (at least first best in the thread summary), Weids and JKH also named I sense 5+ changes
  4. ?‍♂️ You think it'd be priority one!!?? Hence it being an indictment on the whole FD
  5. Wish our Forward Line was only rolled!
  6. Agree, but think the answers are so obvious it would be a waste of time.... 1. Injuries are hurting big time 2. Skills are poor 3. We're too slow, partly the interrupted pre-season, partly (4.) we've not targeted outside pace 4. Our recruiting has been (let's be glass half full...) below average These are largely independent 1 needs to improve over next 3 weeks (to some degree uncontrollable despite the anti-Mission sentiment on DL) 3 and 4 are priority for 2020. 2. Is simply an indictment on the whole Footy Department, not enough focus on skills, particularly kicking, especially goal kicking
  7. Spargo must have played his last game today, he was terrible. His pathetic effort to cover a player where he ended up clumsily running over the mark giving 50 and the 1st goal to GWS was indicative of his day. The only thing he looked capable doing was running off to the bench Lucky goal late and a few cheap kicks wasn't enough to salvage anything
  8. Yeah, I called for that in the Goalkicking post! But aparently we don't have one!! Which then doubles the requirement for Max Rooke to FRO
  9. Agree Except for the Spargo bit And Fritsch needs a few games in the Magoos Happy to see Baker, Petty, Lockhart, Hore blooded for the rest of the season
  10. Max Rooke is forwards coach right? Think he's on the way out
  11. Viney was our best mid today, not much competition I know but he actually played well
  12. Tom MacDonald needs a rest, if he wasn't playing injured before today, he was today He couldn't get a sniff before 3QT and even managed to lead on front of Hunt in Q2 who would've marked 30 out, and caused a Spoil
  13. We need to urgently drop Fritsch, Spargo, Garlett, Wagner and Wagner Stretch, T Smith are keeping spots warm for others returning from injury Petty, Baker, Lockhart should be played to grow them for 2020
  14. Oliver emerged standing over a GWS player after Billy Stretch goal GWS remonstrated and Toby Green punched Oliver to face - looked worthy of 1 week Oliver may be in trouble also
  15. Oskar Baker doing well at least
  16. Would take Lewis over Fritsch 100 times right now, Fritta is way below standard
  17. Spargo should be de-listed ... may as well do it at half time
  18. Oliver, Brayshaw, Fritsch all having shockers Tom MacDonald is just in the way
  19. How's Casey going?
  20. Yeah wow In: Spargo Out: Salem, ~40,000 members
  21. Agree Frost, despite some clangers has been great and is just about a lock for best 22 Hore has shown plenty of promise also and will remain in contention with a best 22 team OMac is holding his spot well now, but probably is out for May in a best 22 scenario and Lever pushes out Wagner with Jetta and Salem making the 6
  22. But yes he is
  23. Its baby oil/massage oil, used now on arms more as a lubricant to help avoid/slip tackles Would not be surprised if it ends up all over the ball... maybe exacerbates the poor skills of some teams (like us)
  24. I'm coming from a different angle Preuss as a forward target upsets the opposition defence, supporting Max is a bonus Need the big lug to draw attention away from TMac and allow mid sized forwards to roam. Also lets small forwards feed off While Tim Smith has been ok at the contest he just doesn't quite give same presence for me
