		Christian Petracca

Sure agree on that. Every club that doesnt win the flag has work to do. To have your 'marquee' player completely disgruntled with the club, I'm being polite, and to have your President state that she hasnt been in contact with the family for some time, leaves me absolutely perplexed. And where has our head of football, Alan Richardson, been in all of this? If it is not time for change then it is time for succession planning, and perhaps handing over to a younger generation - I think Richo and Pert are closing in on 60, and if Steve Smith becomes pres next year he will be 69. (and Mark Williams is 66 I think) and dont ask me what I think about Tracca...

Back in 1978 I saw KB, Hafey and Sheedy having a chat in the cafeteria in the Green Latrine. Better late than never I suppose.

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread

Mazing. Lovett. Are you saying that I dont know what I dont know? (The Fritter-Turner effect is a tendency for players to overestimate their ability to kick a goal from any part of the ground. When Turner plays in defense it becomes the Backman Turner effect known to send everyone into over drive.) My brain is pickled from too much CP5.

He might not ever play again, it is a tough contact sport, and can you imagine the drama if he did and got injured.

What an absolute debacle. Like a nightmare really. Tracca has been trashed, the club has been trashed, we have all had sleepless nights. So it is all good for now, but if any club starts to accumulate first round draft picks for 2025 it will all start again And Tracca, try and get some clean possessions in the first quarter of any game next year.

		Captain Max

Totally agree. Max is fine for the mo, but I would go for Lever then Rivers. I think we need to go younger, on and off the field.

		Email from Peter Lawrence

I found the email in my spam folder. (Gmail) Anyway as I have read the judgement the following statement from Mr Lawrence left me curious : As he delivered the decision, Justice O’Callaghan indicated his “preliminary view” that it was “relatively clear” that each party should bear its own costs. Can I just point out that the above is not in the published judgement so I assume Justice O'Callaghan made some remarks in court. In terms of an independent review I am not sure how that can be achieved; if it is trully independent then neither of the current MFC or Deemocracy should be involved. However a review of some description needs to be undertaken as this season turned to hell before round 1.

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread

Dunno, probably all that dead wood he got rid of for a start. Perhaps you could ask at Bomberland, I am sure he has a few there. Admittedly though he did come to the MFC with the full endorsement of the AFL which gives a 'like it or lump it' attitude to his decisions. Then again he didnt out stay his welcome.
