  1. Glen [censored] Maxwell. How absolutely un- [censored] - believable!!! It might be nearly 4am but I wouldn’t have missed this innings for the world.
  2. @Redleg, it's time for some action to get this thread put back on the main board. It doesn't deserve to die in obscurity way out here (it doesn't deserve to die at all!) - but it surely will unless something is done.

I agree with your sentiment demosaw, but it seems as if it's always my best work that gets binned.

My god. Kettle black and all that! Have you had a look at your avatar BBO?
  5. Totally agree Ernest. We obviously haven't been successful for a long, long time or we'd be used to this "tall poppy syndrome". Expect this behaviour while we are successful and wear it as a badge of honour.

If you have no interest in the “girls game” OD, one wonders why you would possibly care to know what the length of their socks are?
  7. I think it was your pride-based call to erect a stature in your honour (2 in fact!) that did it Red. Andy and the Mods saw "red" at your request and decided to banish you.
  8. Why has it been moved, Mr Mod?
  9. I’m certain, Uncle, that if it’s bigger than 4 inches it will be a banana.

I think we have two clubs (NM and WC) playing chicken at the moment to see who will give way first. I think we leave them alone and do our own thing and see what happens. Would the Hawks be willing to trade their pick 4 (and a guarantee we would not pick Watson) for pick 6 and our future first? We then have a nice hand at the draft - 4 and 11, which I'd be happy with - but it may also make WC be a bit more inclined to relinquish Pick 1 (certainly more so than our previous offer to them) if WC's main aim is to be more certain of getting Curtin and another good first round player. So, if we are lucky, it might net us Pick 1.
  11. I think it was just one "usual suspect" - at least that's what I saw. I think he is actually an admirer WCW, just doesn't really know how to communicate effectively.
  12. Yep, and they usually involve that deranged lady as well.
  13. WCW, you were looking for ways to convince people to attend the AFLW. You suggested the begging approach. I offered that I thought the carrot and the stick approach would be more your style. Now obviously you cannot physically go beating DL's on the head with a stick, but you have been known to occasionally deliver a decent verbal beating on here when appropriate, and equally, a number of carrot offerings as well. Use what you do best - and that definitely aint begging.
  14. Begging doesn’t become you WCW, and would certainly not be believable. I think you are more of a stick lady myself.
  15. Did you think for a moment, BBO, that @Jaded No More may have sent that video as a warning to you? I mean, a lady of her intelligence and class surely wouldn’t tolerate dobbers and brown-nosers.
  16. The average AFL player gets paid over $400K. The average AFLW player gets paid $46K. If we won the McLelland Trophy, the $500K player allocation, shared between our 75 men and women players would equate to $6.66K each. This equates to a 14% salary bonus for the ladies, and less than a 2% bonus for the men (hardly chump change for the majority). It would therefore be a very nice gesture from the men (except perhaps for the rookies etc) if they donated their share to the ladies. This would equate to about $16k bonus for each lady, which would be significant not only in value but also in terms of how the Club values the ladies and their performance this year.
  17. Congrats @Redleg for Pinstripes making the cut. Assuming you and the gang will be there at the Valley on 28th. Is this the year of the outsider?
  18. I'm not really scared, just smart. No sense poking the bear (no offence intended Jaded!)
  19. Haha WCW, not really. i tend to keep on the right side of Jaded - because she scares me. You on the other hand, I just enjoy, because i never know what will come out of that mouth of yours next. I don't think even you do at times.
  20. Yeah but you can never predict what that deranged lady might do, Luci.
  21. Who wants to comment on this post? I will only say that there is a similar saying for females - but I’m too much of a gent to post it.
  22. He only emerges for your teasers D. I don’t think he can be bothered with the rest.

Although I’ve only seen highlights, they are pretty impressive, and Curtin looks ready made to me. I’d certainly grab him if available at 6. He already reminds me of Steven May.
