Tom McDonald?
Omac will make plenty on here look just as silly as this soon enough. In fact in my opinion its already started.

Critiquing each player as if they should all be elite superstars in every category is misguided at best. As far working class players go, ANB is up there with the best.

Chris Judd in the Age
Whoa, you actually analyse the fixture? Congratulations on that man, you must be stoked. You should probably start a career in professional gambling with these credentials of yours. Now as footy is something I actually get enjoyment out of (which doesn't appear to be the case for you, which I find sad) - rather than waste my time trying to predict results for the rest of the season, I think I'll just kick back and watch it as it unfold and hope we are good enough to turn things around after the weekend. That's the magic of footy - hope. If you have none, seriously - why on earth to you bother following a team? Go outside and get some sun.

You're talking about the 2018 season, yeah? Cause I just checked, we are top 8 with 5 games to go. Ironically, you probably expect 100% effort from the boys week in week out, but seemingly give up very easily yourself. Weak as p155 comment

Losing Jack Viney
T Mac or Lever for mine from this list. Gawn is busy enough as it is. Plus he wouldn't be my first choice for a captains goal in a clutch situation haha

Losing Jack Viney
Unsure if this thread exists already, apology if it does. Given Viney's foot injury re-occurrence - do we need to start bracing for the possibility that he may never get this foot right? If it happens again after this one within a year, do we need to reconsider having a captain that spends so much time on the sidelines? Not jumping the gun or being hysterical yet, but if faced with this issue, who would replace him (aside from Jones in the short term)?

When we beat Geelong, I will...
Have a quiet 18 beers and regret it on Sunday morning

Will 12 be enough
Not at anyone in particular - just a light hearted comment

Will 12 be enough
Demonland: (Rightly) Upset that we haven't played finals since 2006. Also Demonland: Well if we fall in with 12 wins it doesn't mean anything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Goodwin Presser 18/7
Sick of the these bloody words. Every press conference he just keeps talking. If he doesn't express his views via interpretive dance next week then I say we look for a new coach.

The Clarry Pass
To the people the say he should kick more - I don't get it. He makes the best decision on whether to kick or handball 99.9% of the time. Would you rather he kick for the sake of kicking, even if a handball is on and is a better option? Would you prefer he stop getting contested possessions so he can hang on the outside? His hard ball gets are his greatest strength. Can't we just be happy about the fact we have a genuine superstar in our team finally!?

FENCESCORE Vs Dishlickers
Frost overs, salem and JKH unders, otherwise pretty spot on

Changes vs Geelong
Hannan probably the only one in the mix to be dropped for mine, everyone else was serviceable enough at the very least. Maybe Balic could get a run. I'd rather Vanders but he needs another week or two at Casey (or at least a game in normal conditions to see where he is actually at). Please no Dom Tyson. Please.

Agree with this, although it must be said an 18-22 year olds are far from grown men. They are glorified teenagers who can legally buy beer.

Changes vs Western Bulldogs
i thought Lewis was alright, possibly getting close to be dropped though. But I can't figure out why so many people are up in arms over that elbow. There was very, very little in that and it wouldn't have been an issue if old mate didn't go down like a bag of [censored]. Nothing wrong with a bit of niggle, the problem is players diving on the ground like a soccer player for free kicks. Sad stuff.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 16
Completely agree. I'm sick of hearing the same excuse every time someone does that - "they were protecting themself". Absolute horseh!t - leading with your elbow mid-air is not how you brace for impact. Tucking your elbow in and absorbing the impact through your shoulder is how you brace for an impact. Anyone who thinks otherwise hasn't been knocked on their arse enough times in life.
