Where to watch the game - Melbourne V WCE
Can anyone make recommendations for a good place to watch in the Canberra/Queanbeyan area that may have a fellow Dee or two to watch it with? Volume a must or I'm staying home .

Are the Dees September 2018 better than the Tiges and Bulldogs circa 2017 and 2016?
How could we be if Goodwin isn't the right guy @Dees2014?

Bogan music? Lol sorry your highness Who are the regular classical artists you normally listen to at a sensible volume in the Range Rover on your way to high tea?

Hey hey back up a bit, Jimmy is a national treasure. Ain't no second prize a certainty to feature. Black eyed peas though? Very lame. I didn't think they existed anymore. If they wanted a hip hop act, they have plenty of commercially viable Australian artists to choose from. The Sunnyboys are still touring, wish we could get a proper Aussie band like that

Which would be at odds with everything he said in this article haha Wouldn't complain if he ripped the game apart on his own having said that!

I'm not sure anyone has. This looks to me like the chrome from an Ironlak reload can with a NY fat cap wielded by a 12 year old with no respect for art or any sort of ability when it comes to graffiti. It sucks big time. There is an age old convention in graffiti that goes "Don't cap what you can't burn". Translate to don't go over a piece of work if yours isn't going to be better. Kids don't understand that concept most of the time, which is why this happens usually. Either that or whoever did this has some personal beef with the artist of the mural, but I'm not sure that's the case. But, its a public space and thems the breaks unfortunately. There's some cracking photos of this wall getting around, thats the important thing.

Graffiti, including tagging, mostly started in the late 60's/early 70's and evolved into a collective movement against corporate America. It actually has a fascinating history if your ever bored enough to read about it. The culture I refer to encompasses graffiti, hip hop music and break dancing. Tagging with certain techniques can take incredible skill to do at the highest level. Kid's running around with spray cans tagging everything isn't great, I agree with that. But it all has a very interesting story behind it.

Anyone can come up with random percentages out of the air like that to support their own agenda, but the fact remains this is a culture you clearly don't understand and therefore debating it with you is pointless.

I grew up tagging, I now do street murals in legal places for a hobby. Based on his "raise hell" letters, I'd be willing to bet the guy that did this mural did the same thing when he was a kid. It's the usual progression into this style of art form. If we make the grand final I'll do a Demonland wall!

Yeah its a public wall, can't be mad about it
