That mark came about because of a total BS insufficient call. More like insufficient brain cells/integrity

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Alright, here we go!! This is where we show that last week was a launching pad, not the exception. The thing about performances like that is that it sets the standard. The base of what weāre capable of. Which means we have to maintain that effort and heart. We wonāt win every game, but we can approach every game with that intensity. Letās go, Dees!! ā¤ļø

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Agree. And especially so without May OR Lever, against a potent, dynamic forward who has very much had the best of us in the last few years. Donāt even talk about last year. We take the W every day of the week.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
After our bad losses to Freo last year, and given our start this year, this is a MASSIVE win!! Koz Bowey and Viney were awesome. Over 100? A win? Now THATāS retro! 𤣠Itās never too late to turn things around, letās use this and build confidence! Great win boys, thank you. So proud. Miss this feeling ā¤ļø

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
if we really want to turn this year around and show weāre united and mentally strong, this is the moment to push. We have done well but itāll mean nothing if we get sloppy and snooze because freo WILL steal this. Stay focused, boys!!

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
I know we needed change, but I donāt really get these changes. Goody himself said our defence was the issue. Weāre too easy to score against. So he drops our forwards? Whatās the message there? Fritter has not been his best but he has been better recently. Scored 25% of our goals last week lol. JVR is down on confidence big time but delivery to him has also been HORRIBLE, AND he is being used in ruck which is a huge waste and stunting development. Goody better hope our delivery is like a million times better this week otherwise heās going to look silly. And freo will punish, again, more than the bombers thatās for sure. Hope the cream rises to the top. Happy with disco returning, should not have been dropped after just one game back. Anyway, hereās hoping we start working it out soon.

Time to go Goody?
Oof, that's a hard read. I really enjoyed his counter-tide piece last year, offering hope and common sense. Also, this stat (yuck) The Demons have won just four of 16 games since Alice Springs. And eight of those 12 defeats have been by 38 points or more.

Time to go Goody?
Same. I felt buoyed the last few weeks when he looked so confident, and spoke of just a few small thing turning for the tide to change. But the things he's saying are really basic. Is it all really in the defence? It's part of it, sure, but really? And what's this talk of how it's apparent we're down on pressure lol. How would that not be obvious in watching our games or even reading up on stats post game? But yeah, I feel I am getting sucked into the buoyancy. Again. lol

Time to go Goody?
Well, he's staying calm. But also urgent...

The Luke Beveridge Thread
I have a few Doggies mates (still, after the GF haha) and I dunno fam, they are not happy with him. Their gripes sound a lot like ours - weird selections, guys out of position (!!! this has to sound familiar, no?!!), stubborn. Yeah, he's a little more animated and gives better pressers, and a little 'harder', but the Doggies output (no top 4) in recent years does not give me much confidence. This can't be all we're looking for, right? RIGHT? This is all very speculative knee-jerk stuff, which should be relegated to passing thought only. Not gonna happen, nor should it. We don't need a premiership coach to be great (again) (sorry). It's been said before, but look at Fly and Kingsley. Look at Scott before joining the Cats. Say what you want about the Cats, but they have remained relevant and fiercely competitive for a long time. Yeah, Chris inherited a great list, but that was many, many moons ago. Still going. We could not sustain momentum and competitiveness a mere 2-3 years after a flag!!! We want that sort of commitment. Anyway, I digress. Point is, if Goody were to go (and he won't, unless we're 0-15. Maybe), we need to think more broadly about who we want to take our list forward and build the sort of enduring culture of success that the Cats have (I know, sorry). But it's true.

Letter from Brad Green
Completely agree. I guess it leads back up to the investment aspect of all of this - members - who are clamouring for a return on investment, both time and $, which is where the CEO (TBC) and President typically (have to) roll out the corporate response. Again, damned if they do/don't. And you're right, not much to be taken from them generally, aside from the 'relief' that they, too, can see everything's on fire. Just no water. Box-ticking nothings being whispered in our ears...

Letter from Brad Green
That's one of the things I am most curious about. Impact of a new CEO... It's well overdue and hopefully leads to something. Anything. Can't stay the same doing what we're doing.

Letter from Brad Green
...AH one of those damned if he does, damned if he doesn't type letters. I guess it's probably better Brad said something. For me anyway. I would think it strange if he stayed silent while the club looks to be imploding before our very eyes. It doesn't say a hell of a lot, though. Just lots of corporate spin. But he kind of has to? I dunno. I am just confused. Where was all of this in the pre-season? Our deficiencies were known last year. What did we do to address those? What have we done differently, aside from up the ante with slow, boring, unaccountable football? Aren't we all loved up now? It can't be that. Where are the skills??? Fitness? Last quarters? What is happening? Aside from some shining lights with the kids, it's all been bad across the board. Oh and pointing to ONE good quarter against a bottom, underwhelming bombers outfit is not the W he thinks it is. What a mess.
