NON MFC: Rd 01 2021
I noticed the importance of fast hands tonight, teams who handball the quickest will do well (bulldogs come to mind)

Farewell Oscar McDonald
Still an average player, had no idea how to position himself as a forward

Weideman is soft as [censored]. Often gets monstered by the opposition key back

Mckay is way better, also playing against a decent Richmond defence. I wish Sam was as tough as him

Mckay is way tougher than weideman

Players should be allowed to go backwards, I like the rule but ridiculous that they can't move backwards

Umpires letting the game flow tonight, no doubt a directive from afl, I don't mind it so long as it is consistent

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Spargo has never shown anything, sparrow has not impressed me either. I'd be more content if these high picks showed some form of AFL traits, I know players take time to come on but there should be some glimmer of AFL talent

Sparrow, Jordan and Nietschke
Latham vandermeer looks great too, fantastic pace with clean skills, would've looked good running the opposite wing to langdon
-
Sparrow, Jordan and Nietschke
You'd expect a 20 year old to show some sort of afl attributes, I see nothing with him unfortunately

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs Bulldogs
Agree completely however disagree about Jackson, every single leap yesterday was totally out of time

Well let's look at the last 5 years, appears more misses than hits, especially in 2016 and 2018 which have hit us quite hard. Noone from 2016 draft is even on the list.. Imagine Bowey, Laurie and Rosman all not being on the list in 2026. Also concerning is an overreliance on small players being drafted, all 7 picked in 2018 were smalls Melbourne Demons AFL Draft Picks at the end of Season 2020 2020 AFL Draft Summary Type Round Pick Player Current Team Games Since Drafted * National 1 21 Jake Bowey (?) WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Lots of players can play at the dees but all the young ones are rubbish, bowey and rivers and to a lesser extent jackson are the only ones that have impressed me

Farewell Oscar McDonald
Oscar sucks and Carlton are highlighting their incompetence by signing him
