I think the match committee have not played certain players in VFL just in case of injuries on Tuesday.
Weed and Stretchy might play Tuesday or be kept for the bumbers game as insurance.

I hope Goodwin and co have learnt from their lessons from last Sunday. This game on Tuesday night has taken on extra significance from this weekends results.

Forward line no doubt, if it doesn't pan out always a spot for him in the backline.

For those supporters that critique the kicking skills of Hunt (and Viney); thank Jesus that they weren't Richmond's Chairman of Selectors in 2017. Guess what? The premiership team had the worst kicking efficiency in the AFL in 2017.
Give me Hunt with his speed and line-breaking ability, who may miss the odd target; over concrete legs, who gets relatively easy ball as a +1 and goes the safe option short and sideways.

I agree with you 100% TGR, I've been spewing they dropped Hunty, only player with run and dare.

Chances are he will be back because he was BOG against Werribee. Exactly why he was dropped. To go back and find form. Its not rocket science but you clearly prefer conspiracy theories.
The old rocket science studies they did come in handy. Lets see how WE go Tuesday night then.

Take a look at the Crows no plan B.

I have read a few of your posts and you have a very poor understanding of football or you are simply trolling.
Hunt is the only player keeping Hunt out of the team. He was dropped.
So I can further enhance my knowledge Jmac could you please enlighten me on the your understanding of Football since I'm a clueless troll.
I would love to hear you take. I'm not on here to cause conflict with other users, I have my views rightly or wrongly they are my views, let me know what you think is wrong so I can go over it and follow the coaches lead.
By my understanding, You thought Hunt was his own worst Enemy? fair enough.
Do you think he will be back for Tuesday Night? I Think he will be, Do you know why Jmac? because he brings something to our side that we don't have much of and that's Lightning Pace and Dare the x factor.
Yes his kicking is a bit iffy at times it's not his strength, but he will run and carry , break lines, create over lap, run down players(not watch them run by) and yes even tackle.
You obviously don't rate one of our many weaknesses Pace, you would rather a team of plodders that lack x factor.
Drop some knowledge on me coach
P.s yours Trolly.

I saw this article. Shows we are a work in progress. The ability to them to jam us up and destroy our forward entry was evident on the weekend. The review would be interesting this week - it seems we have a lot of 'external review' of our gameplan, and if we fail to learn from it, we deserve what we get. We have to learn to respond, and to hold our own structures for our own benefit - not get sucked into their plans. Seems that this change, made after qtr time, made a significant impact.
Our forward line, Backline and midfield is all over the shop. Add to the fact everyone is reading Maxy's taps.

Everyone seems to be hanging their hat of this guy. Came to the club to crawl over the line to the 300 game mark and some retirement fund coin. Harsh?maybe, reality? No doubt.

We went an impressive 0-3 when Lewis didn't play last year.
exactly undiciplined, Do you remember what he did?

He also avoided being on AFL 360, Bernie took his place.

I still don’t get it. If he was injured, why wasn’t he benched, and a fit player used? I do not question his endeavour, or even his bravery. My issue is with the medical team and coaching staff having on the field if he was injured, or Lewis not letting on that he was injured. I thought Goodwin wanted ‘fit’ players. Could have shuffled the deck chairs, and maybe seen something different from what we saw.
it's called selfish.

Well if Jonathan Brown agrees with you, you must be right. I said he got the most p’s against Nth, not Brisbane.
Granted he doesn’t have much pace but he never has. Go back and watch some of the replays of his delivery by foot. I am a Hunt fan but he is a horrible kick.
How am I suppose to know what he says on the field and how he leads but since you’re the football genius I guess you can tell from your arm chair.
Lever didn’t come to us to play a half back role.
Well if he's playing a half back role your suppose to defend aren't you? keep your feet, follow your opponent not just jog back and expect someone else to pick up your man.
I will eat my words if he comes back after a spell in the magoo's and plays Disciplined team orientated football against top 8 credentialed teams.
Until then he's a liability.

I wish him a speedy recovery from his broken hand and accept this may be the reason for some of his poor execution and tackling on the weekend. However I cannot connect this with his lack of chase, inability to keep his feet or to maintain marshalling his younger team mates into some form of defensive structure when on the field on the weekend.
I hope he recovers quickly but will be curious to see how we perform without him slowing us down and what happens when he is ready to return.

How is he out of form? He Was the highest possession winner against North and one of the main reasons we beat Brisbane.
Are you basing his drop in form from Sunday when he played with a broken hand?
When he's keeping a player like Jayden Hunt out of the team I have a major problem with it. Our main problem is leg speed other teams notably Hawthorn use it to plot our downfall, he is a plodder keeping out a Jet for what purpose to play as a loose defender?
Didn't we bring in a 800k a year defender from Adelaide to play that role? what does he bring to the team D11? onfield leadership? onfield coach? tell me D11 I would love to know.
He's so unaccountable as a defender let's players run past him at will, teams put pacey players on him to expose him, North are mediocre let's be real regardless of streak.
oh I forgot he got the most possessions against Brisbane did he? gee wiz wow that's amazing, do you know they lost by 93 pts on the weekend D11, makes it look like a masterpiece of a game.
How bout young Stretchy I'd rather him as well plenty of toe about him give him a go now. Lewis will keep. He'll still get his top up of super from us.
Jonathon Brown was not impressed with his game against Brisbane and tends to agree with my sentiments and he's a big wrap for the Dees.
Sorry D11 I'm not on my own here other sets of eyes watch these games and say the same thing, that's life.

I wish him all the best for a speedy 6-8 week recovery, when it's all mended and he's ready to go, he's not amune from a month in the magoo's. Recover your touch son and work your butt off to get back in the side.
