Rd 22: Opposition Watch vs Eagles
I was told the same by "a high flying Richmond player" on Saturday night. He also mentioned that he felt we would do very well in the finals.

POST MATCH DISCUSSION - Round 19
Was getting very upset with Brayshaw. His commentary was SO biased towards Adelaide until it was unwinnable then started to say complimentary things about Melbourne. Why not just commentate on what you see in front of you without biase. Channel 7 of course take the cake. Every time I hear Ling's voice I cringe.

The 2019 fixture
I believe we are only contracted for 9 home games at the "G" plus two sold home games in the NT. We then play two 'tennant" clubs to make our total 11. If we stopped the NT games there is no guarantee we get those home games at the "G". I would love to know how many "home" games Richmond and Collingwood have at the "G" considering the MCG is our home ground and all the rest are "tennants". I know the bums on seats theory but as we improve we must have more home games against the higher drawing Vic clubs. Carlscum can just waddle to to Shiitiad stadium in the west and stagnate there. Clearly the AFL arranged more games at the "G" for Carlscum to go after their supporters (bums on seats again).

Run home to Finals - 2018
Hey Dr. D Can I get a second opinion please.

Run home to Finals - 2018
If it finishes as listed I would be OK with that. Eighth (Melbourne) play fifth (Geelong) and the cats would be VERY worried if that was the case being played at the "G". The payback by the dee's for the last two matches against each other will be worth whatever you pay to get inside. Umpiring is so much more reliable in the finals and I believe Brayshaw will have a direct mike under his helmut from the ump's.

Ruck danger
Bernie will not get a free for the rest of the season and the maggots will be instructed to watch him carefully. Sneeze and it's a free against him. That's how Gill will fix the problem.

Ruck danger
I believe he said" Paddy & Max".

Cats to ask for home final
As they are currently OUTSIDE of the eight maybe their "rag" and supporters are getting ahead of themselves.

Cats to ask for home final
NO. Referees only - required for the fights.

Round 18 - Non MFC games
Reasonable crowd at the "G: today. Relevant departments must have been very busy this morning issuing day passes.

Run home to Finals - 2018
Wasn't sure where to put this but I read over the weekend where Leigh Matthews didn't have Maxy in the best 5 players on the ground. As both coaches gave him maximum votes, I feel that alone just highlights how out of touch Matthews is with the current game (as well as his bias against Melbourne). He is not the only one of the (dial a quote brigade) to put us down. RUCKMAN Max Gawn continues to lead the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award. Gawn received the maximum 10 votes in Melbourne's 50-point win over the Western Bulldogs at the MCG on Saturday. The 2016 All-Australian has been in brilliant form this year and is now a genuine chance for this year's Brownlow Medal.

Hope you get that from your mates but the AFL are getting serious regarding scalping in today's paper. About time. If Tiges miss and the Pie's make it - charge double to your Pie mates. Haha

Run home to Finals - 2018
One could hope for a fair distribution. As you point out H&A is one thing and finals are another but I agree with your point. Melbourne make the finals and our supporters will be everywhere. Even the AFL could not ignore the $$$$$$$'s

Run home to Finals - 2018
Well if that's the case the ground has to be opened up to 50% non Geelong supporters if it's a Victorian club. Let's see how that goes down in catland.

Umpire Report
Just noticed we have scored 1561 points (average 104 = 17.3 goals) with the next nearest Richmond 1461 (average 97 = 16.1 goals) after the last round. Simple really. Goals = breaks = $$$$ in revenue. Carlton 942 points (average 62.8 = 10.4 goals) and St Kilda 1055 points (average 70.3 = 11.7 goals). Hmmmm channel 7 missing the plot here.

No it was outside the "dressing rooms" in the tunnel. They threw on heaps of food and drinks.
