Another thing struck me at the game was our ever improving foot skills. However the reality is that it is the next person running hard to position giving them a great option.

Funny how it wasn’t that long ago I would be a nervous wreck when the ball was in our backline and cringe when thinking how it would get out. Now I’m relaxed and enjoy watching them from the backline constructing a beautiful forward entry.

I keep hearing these “stronger teams”. Not sure they exist. Seems like a very even comp, proven by the last 2 premierships.

Don’t mind him. Gets it right most of the time. Unfortunately just got it horribly wrong during the Essendon saga!

Although it has a bit to do with the recent opposition, our entries into the forward line have improved. Lowering the eyes and not just bombing it in.

It’s always funny when crap teams play us we always fear they will come good, but objectively we know the saints are absolute [censored]. With that said I’m very nervous and I hope we scrape home in a very ugly thriller ?

The teams that worry me the most are skilful. Based on this I was interested how we would go against a traditionally skilful team. Once again it reminds me that this is out biggest weakness. It was so evident. They were pinpointing 40m passes in the wet, whilst we were missing short passes. I think we are potentially top 8 team, but hard to see us top 4/premiership material at this stage.

Personally found it tougher to watch Carlton than the Scottish marathon runner

Last year we were laughing at the tiges paying too much for Prestia... Also players won't be disappointed with the club bringing in players that make the list better. They are surely smart enough to realise that history only remembers the premiership teams!
