Im sure if any of our ruckmen were better than White they would be Number 1 but they aren't. I think people expect to much from White considering Ruckmen have been taken out of the game to some extent

Who cares what his height is really, if the M.F.C can develop him into a great footballer and not destroy him by playing him in wrong positions i'll be happy. M.F.C need to play there young players where they will flourish and gain confidence, not by just filling in a senior players position.

I can remember MFC great for Last Quarter fade aways years ago. Neale Daniher turned that around and had us really fit and fired up after Troy Broadbridges death and we could out run the opposition. I don't see the logic in delisting Ward and Godfrey which have some legs if we had alot of injuries over summer. Wouldn't it make more sense to get rid of the injury proned

With a few players retiring this season our Salary Cap will be freed up and able to buy some decent footballers, Who should we be looking at? Ben Cousins? A decent Ruckman and Center Half Forward ? Any names which are out of contract at seasons end we should be chasing? What do you's reckon? Is J. Brown contracted next year? would he come home?

Have faith in the Bruce once he is match fit he'll be alright

After watching alot of the other teams this weekend it seems like our fitness,strength, endurance and intensity is well below par. Hawthorn & Brisbane look like they had big pre seasons and will give Geelong a crack. I know its early in the season and players are eager and jumping out of there skin, but we don't look like we have improved our fitness over the Pre Season. Could someone who knows what we did comment on our Pre Season preparation. Did we focus too much on Game Plan change and forget about overall fitness

Melbourne have a good reputation of getting rid of players which still turnout good footballers, Examples Troy Simmonds would be pretty handy right now, Farmer would be handy in our forward line, Woey, Spalding good enough for a Carlton Premiership side, Brian Wilson,Armstrong, just to name a few. Melbourne F.C maybe aren't developing there players enough, why give Sylvia away to become a gun at another club. I think we are behind alot of the clubs in this area for the fact we don't have a proper training facility

When older players leave next year we will have draft picks and extra cash to buy some big name players, if we are smart enough to do this that is

Its not that we will miss them so much ,its the holes they leave that has to be filled ,with AFL standard player and not just upcoming young players either

Neitz always is a handful for any backline. Takes a key positioned backman player out of the game Jmac is a leader and the only player with consistency. White is still a top 5 in the League Ruckman, Johnson is no way near White as a player even though White is at the end of his career. Yze Whelan, Holland will be missed for there leadership and experience. They will play more games this year the way the team is playing.

When you lose players with experience and that have leadership qualities, who will the younger players look up to? Younger players will be lost on the footy field and it will effect our team. We will be mentally weaker because who will stand up and lead by example? We will have to pay for some big name players next year to fill Macca and Neitz spot

Why is it that Macca can lay 10 tackles today but Jones only 1. Jones obviously isn't adding enough pressure to the opposition

Robertson hasn't got much delivery coming in. Robertson can't chase because by the time he lands or gets back on his feet his opposition are ten meters ahead. Robertson needs to stay on his feet before he can chase. Robbos just a Mark of the Year try hard.
