  1. Currently watching the replay (qtr time). It didn't look good in the first 5 mins. Butler & Hill finding space and Membrey getting off the leash. 2 elements of fortune in Petracca's 2 goals. The actual infringement for the free kick was about 55m out but the umpire had the guy on the mark at 51m. The holding the ball against Zac Jones that led to Petracca's second goal was pretty stiff. It's was nice to be able to capitalize on a bit of good fortune
  2. From 'Red Mist' to tempo footy. Who would have thought?
  3. Dare I say our plan might be to negate their speed by playing keepings off ala Geelong style? Hopefully we aren't going to take them on head to head in speed and outside run. Rivers, Wagner & Mcdonald are all relatively reliable kicks (within their limitations) - as well as having Salem & May back there so perhaps we'll try and use short sharp ball movement. Obviously the fear of this is going to be the inevitable turnovers which will kill us.
  4. How do you rock up late to training and your housemate turns up on time? Especially given they cant do all that much in 'hub-land' anyway.
  5. Would be perfect for our forward line then
  6. Don't we have enough crap players?
  7. The pressure in the last 10 mins was red hot. We would have gone to [censored]
  8. We got taught a lesson in the midfield. What's worse is that the same thing would have happened if we had Gawn
  9. If you cant kick over [censored] caleb daniel's head what hope have we got !
  10. Undone our last 10 mins of the first half in 5 mins this half
  11. They're cleaner, harder, faster at the moment. Would it hurt for us to put a bit more pressure on when they're kicking it back in from a behind.
  12. Loaded up last week and got stiffed. North Pacific into Showmanship into Dees under 39.5. Never been happier to do my money!
  13. Yeh it's a bit concerning. You don't generally see a drift like that in a head to head market which makes me think that there might be a significant late change or MFCSS has kicked in and we're all laying off on the dogs too
  14. Aarok Davey. When he first came on the scene his chase down tackles and forward line pressure was next level. He then moved up the ground and I haven't seen a better field kicker before or since at the club. I remember one game at Etihad against the Bulldogs (granted there were 12 ppl there) the sound of the footy coming off his boot was crisp and you could hear the air coming out of the ball.
  15. Shades of Nuclear Power Plant softball team about this week
