I actually think Weid hasn’t copped it quite as much because most of us know our game style just doesn’t suit him, he’s a lead up player and unfortunately we’re just a bomb it in team that struggles to lower their eyes. I really hope he gets a chance at any team that will play to his strengths and if he goes I wish him luck.

Do you listen to the podcast live or later? I normally listen on my phone using Spotify later, Monday or Tuesday at work, I listen through Bluetooth earphones and I can hear all the voices clearly. If you listen live, maybe try listening to the download on Spotify, if you have it, and see if you still have an issue hearing? 😊

Listening to the podcast now, Binman pointing out how fit Kozzie is and the amount of gut running he does etc. Makes me think of those 4-5 short documentaries the club did after we drafted him, one of them showed a pre-season training day down at the beach, an absolutely brutal session and I remember Kozzie being last to finish a crab walk, other players taking turns to crab walk with him as encouragement, Kozzie was spent when he finished. I just love the effort he has put in to get to this level, there are naturally gifted players that never learn to put in the hard yards. ❤💙

We kicked a goal after the siren against Geelong in R23 last year and then steamrolled through the finals, this year we kick a goal with 13secs left in R22 to win a crucial game, now we’re going to steamroll through 4 more games for back to back flags. 😉

Unfortunately I’m working so can’t go, should be a big crowd though, Trac will be happy. 😜 Fair to say I’m nervous about this one, the Pies match up well against us and we tend to let one or two of their players have a day out against us. It’s a huge game for us, if we back up our Freo win with another good win here it’s going to hopefully launch our finals run and, fingers crossed, we do what we did last year. When it comes down to it, if we play near our best we will win, I just hope our players turn up. 🤞🏻🔴🔵

The AFL decided to get rid of the Veterans discount in 2014, it was officially removed at the end of 2016, for the start of the 2017 season, the delay was to allow clubs time to rework contracts etc

I find myself in a weird situation where I’m frustrated because I believe we’re playing poorly, but we’re still 2nd on the ladder with a tough draw and an “interesting” floating fixture. Throw in the key player injuries we’ve had, a few of them have happened early in a game and we’re still going ok. We certainly aren’t at last years finals level but I still believe we can win the flag from anywhere in the 8 if we hit form in the finals.
