please. it was a cheap shot against a guy who had just gotten back to his feet and was not exactly getting the ball anytime soon. ferocity and competitiveness? show them when the ball is loose and youre going in to get it, not when a guy has just been smashed, is standing there in pain, not looking and you have no intention of getting the ball. thats just [censored] weak as [censored].

i think its fair to say that the intent between bartrams and guerras was completely different. one was a poorly executed tackle, whereas guerra wanted to drill stevie j and thats fairly apparent. the hawks wanted to work him over. and im [censored] glad they tried it and lost the game. wankers.

what really annoyed me about this passage of play was after stevie j had handballed off after getting the free kick, and a hawthorn player came barging into him as he was signalling to the bench. legally he was within 5 m of the ball, but as the geelong player had the ball at the time its not like the hawks player was laying a shepherd, and also had no intention of chasing to get the ball. he just ran straight into stevie j and knocked him over. as far as i am concerned that should be charging. stevie j didnt shepherd, he just got run into. it was also a filth act.

le cras kicked 59 goals in that west coast team last year. id go so far as to say hed be in any team in the comp as a medium forward. name me a better one. that would put him in the top 50.

my feeling is that the difference is between choosing to bump instead of getting the ball - and not getting it 100% right, and shepherding another player, when they can be reasonably expected to be aware that as they are chasing they may get bumped. does that make any sense?? ie protect the guy who is going for the ball...

haha well at a primary school of approx 400 last year, i think there were about 5 melbourne supporters. the best thing i saw was "footy day" a kid came with a white bonds shirt, and 3 lines of gaffer tape stuck to it to look collingwood. i nearly died with laughter! lots of cats, pies and saints supporters now. of course.....the great sequence of questions... how many flags have the cats won "25" "15" "40" yeah um try 8 i think it is how many flags have the sainst won?
