  1. Followed it up with one of the worst shots for goal this year!
  2. Great passage of play. Love watching Trac in traffic, so strong through the hips.
  3. Kicking into a 3-4 goal breeze. About to kick our first now. Nothing to worry about so far.
  4. Jeffy will be wearing No. 67 and Nev will be wearing No. 50 during today's game.
  5. His second half of the year will dictate the price if he decides to leave. Swans are very keen to re-sign him, so if he does want to leave then they'll demand top price. That doesn't mean we pay it, though.
  6. Hunt kicks more goals than he misses. He might miss a few targets, but he is a pretty reliable shot for goal.
  7. Pretty confident about today's game. We match up pretty well on them and, even without a ruckman, I think our mids will beat theirs without too many problems. I like the changes as well as the three ins give us some serious run and flexibility - all three can play a mixture of half back, half forward and midfield.
  8. He had a great third term, kicked a goal and set up another. 18 touches and 7 tackles to this point. What he seems to have improved is in his ball winning ability without having to sacrifice his ability to impact a contest. He is both an inside and outside player.
  9. And that's the crux of the issue - does he really want to move, or can Sydney do enough to keep him? With the extra $$$ in their salary cap you could argue that they will be able to table a pretty good offer, but if we can match it and he wants to play for a few years with his brother then we are in the box seat. Sorry for the lazy link post as well, felt like I was letting the team down as you go to great lengths to pull quotes out and all I did was dump it here. Wasn't much to the article though!
  10. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/sydney/zak-jones-set-to-remain-in-sydney-shunning-interest-from-home-state-victorian-rivals/news-story/bbbc917a60aeb672c862eb05f8f2488d It's a pretty nothing article, just that that Swans are confident that Zak wants to stay in Sydney and they are confident they can ward of our interest in him. There is nothing in the article that actually confirms our interest, more that they are confident he'll sign on.
  11. That's correct - they moved Pick 20 on in a three team deal with Port and Brisbane that included a host of other picks as well that landed them Picks 14 and 29. So, if we're being technical, then it's Kelly and Lobb vs. Tyson, Salem and Hunt. I'm happy with what we have at the moment, although Salem is still yet to really get going, while Kelly has stamped himself as an excellent player so far this year while Lobb did the same last year (he has been quiet this year, though). I'd have GWS slightly in front, but that's more on output than anything else.
  12. Kelly has been sensational this year. He is quickly becoming one of the better midfielders in the comp. Tyson is up and down, as is Salem, while Hunt is backing up last year with another good year. To suggest we're well ahead is way off the mark. There is still plenty of water to go under the bridge but you could argue the Giants are in front at the minute.
  13. Well then good luck to teams who take us lightly as we know what happens. Ridiculous to think that a side playing finals against us (pure hypothetical) would take us lightly. It's a ludicrous comment to be honest.
  14. Then they can dig their own grave. No one in the competition, especially this year, would take any side lightly.
  15. Yeah we were great downhill skiiers against St. Kilda and the Crows. Some of the best I've seen...
  16. Maybe I'm going a touch far with the fear factor, but we aren't pushovers and we can match it with anyone. We wouldn't be an easy proposition for any team if we make the finals.
  17. We're deviating away from the point here, faulty. If we go a few pages back I was simply making the point that if we made finals (and I'm not saying we will) then we have the ability to cause some havoc. Nothing more, nothing less. You and your mates can go on and on and on about everything else, but I've made my point on that. If we finished 8th then no side in that bottom 4 of the 8 would want to finish 5th as we can match it with anyone.
  18. Should have been a 50 metre penalty prior to the call of play on. Umpire was looking right at it as well. Pathetic from the umpires.
  19. He was asked to play on as he was lining up for goal and didn't realise until almost 3 Geelong players were tackling him. He had to quickly give it off and the rest is history. Port were robbed.
  20. An unbelievable decision. As he was lining up a host of Geelong players were signalling for 'play on' and encroaching on the mark before it was even called. Can't believe it.
  21. Geelong win again thanks to the umpiring and their fans will, once again, celebrate like complete [censored] jockey's.
  22. This time it's Scott Selwood who just flops over on the ground and it's given as a push in the back. They have 7 FF between them!
  23. You're probably right, although I recall their red being closer to orange. I thought ours was mostly blue but the above picture shows how much attention I was paying at the time.
  24. Ours is predominantly blue so it won't be an issue. Edit - actually, it's half and half:
