  1. He is our leading goal kicker. You've lost the plot again, picket.
  2. Twitter. I'll obviously take the word of some on here over that, so going by someone like titan, whose view on a game I trust, he gave us nothing.
  3. So watching the replay might be a bad idea? All I heard was Hunt kicked 4, Fritta missed a few but came good and Joel Smith played well on Daniher. That last part could be wrong, but it's what I heard and read!
  4. I've been out all day at my mother in laws outdoor birthday party, so a win has softened the blow. Anyone out there happy to give a quick review from both sides of the coin on how we played? Now over to Freo!
  5. And a horror six months of pre-season, with nothing else to talk about, begins.
  6. Not worried... yet. I'll wait and see how his pre-season and recovery goes before I start thinking the world is coming to an end.
  7. It would be so Melbourne to lose this. So Melbourne in fact that I don't think anyone here would be surprised. I'll be more surprised if we win, and even win well. Let's see if we can flip the script for a change. For what it's worth, I can't see the Dogs losing tomorrow, so today's outcome is almost a moot point, but it would be nice to be in the game for at least 24 hours longer.
  8. I hate the Peptides. I hate their fans as well. Would love nothing more than to send that sniper Worsfold off with a 10 goal loss.
  9. Looks like we are right into him now. Wonder if Essendon will be annoyed and play hard ball with us over him. You would hope there would be some good will there after how well the Hibberd/Melksham deals went over the past few years. I'd be happy to flip the Hawks 2nd rounder.
  10. Who would have thought 12 months ago that this would be occurring. What a fall from grace. It's been great.
  11. I'd rather try and get Nathan Carroll out of retirement than give Majak a one year contract.
  12. We said the same thing about Dan Butler, who didn't score when we played the Saints, and Tom Papley, who was handy without causing us a whole lot of damage. I'm a Lockhart fan but, apart from Smith, I'm happy with how our back line has been selected.
  13. Really? Rivers, Hibberd and Salem are more than handy at ground level, while May is no slouch either. Seems like a strange argument. On Lockhart - strange how much love he is now getting, although I agree with it. Hibberd in is the right move.
  14. If he did all these things well, then he wouldn't be in and out of a side that's won just three games this year. To me, he really isn't a whole lot of an upgrade on someone like Josh Wagner. He isn't worth a second glance.
  15. Seemingly had a great 2019, so what's gone wrong this year? Too soft? Not defensive enough? Doesn't work hard enough? Something has gone awry for him this season and I'd love to know what it is.
  16. A fair portion being the 20 odd people talking about it in this thread?
  17. Spargo, Spargo, Spargo, Spargo, Spargo, Spargo, Spargo, Spargo, Spargo, Spargo and Clarry Clarry Choo Choo?
  18. Not a chance. Doesn't strike me as a bloke who wants it enough and would fit in at our club. I wouldn't touch any of those 11 listed. We should be targeting blokes who are going to help us now by being part of our best 25-27 players. None of those above would really fit that criteria. Good on them for going hard with the clean out, but as @Pollyanna said, they are in for a world of hurt in the coming years.
  19. Yeah that's really strange, and not good practice from the club. Did they put it in the fine print at the bottom or something? Surprised they stuck with this rather than stopping it across the board and checking in with members if they wanted it to continue in the current climate.
