I watched/listened to a few interview's he's done in the lead up to the draft last night, this kids a ripping young lad. He's made of the right stuff & plays in a way that will make him a fan favourite very quickly. I'm really excited to watch him develop.

It's really annoying me that North got these late 1st round picks as part of their handout. It's going to be difficult to match what they can offer in terms of moving up to 10 or 7. I would've thought receiving pick 3 compo was more than enough.

The opening bounce set the standard early, Cox went straight at Max knees up and he went down like a sack of spuds looking for the free kick. They out worked us and out pressured us and it was embarrassing. Apparently we have a game built for finals and are the toughest team in the comp yet we're about to be bundled out in straight sets for the second year on the trot.

I noticed Petracca pulled up saw during a centre stoppage, it was a non collision injury. He had a bit of a limp for the rest of the game. Interesting to see if anything comes of that.

Personally I'd love to look at what Bowser could add up forward.

Interested to get his thoughts on how opposition teams are trying to move the ball against us. Clearly teams are trying to avoid May & Lever and pick there way through our zone. Also why do we struggle against opposition mid/small size forwards so much.

That bump up would've been Auskick numbers coming through. When you pay your Auskick fees and nominate which club you support you receive a free junior membership.

There's no way any club will trade the number one pick this year. WILL. NOT. HAPPEN.

Love the Pod guys The forward mix is definitely an issue at the moment, luckily we have time to get it right. Do you think it's time to have a look at what Schache can offer? Personally I'd like to see Petty go back and see what a forward line of JVR, Schache & Gawn/Grundy looks like. Keep up the good work.

Happy to be corrected here but im not sure Petty was drafted as a forward. He played all his footy for SA as a defender in his U18 year.

Ok I'm just curious as to what Georgiades would be worth in terms of draft picks, a lot of ppl saying Port have got nothing to deal with when it comes to Pickett but I'm pretty sure if he chooses Port they'll find a way to get it done. It's my understanding they still have a future 1st up their sleeve too.
