My mail is he wants to go back to the Hawks
-
Cats, if we win we finish 5th. 5 v 8. Lose and we're away to GWS 5 v 8. I'd prefer Cats at the G, just to drive the dagger into Chris Scott.
-
Do you reckon Hawks fans will be a bit peeved? http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-08-22/dud-against-hawks-kennett-pokes-the-buddy-bear#/

Jackson Merrett from Essendon, not being offered another contract.
-
If we lose to GWS we will likely play them in the first final.

What they're saying over at Roberts Road

My worst are: WCE ADEL PORT FREM ESS HAW/COLL -
Interesting that OMAC hasn't signed yet? What WCE payed McGovern was pretty top line and unbelievable.
-
North are desperate, didnt they offer Dusty and Josh Kelly astronomical amounts last year? And Polec $750,000 this year. We'll soon soon what his values are, if it's cash then good thing he doesn't come but it's his job and future also.
-
Rumour has it WCE have offered 6 x $850,000, naturally I'm unsure if true. NM have apparently offered 7 x $1.2m

Very good player, his 2010 GF was brilliant, would have served a purpose a few years ago, but not at 34. I do think we need to consolidate our older guys with a new lot though.
-
Is Collingwood in a pre-lim possible, I'll take them please!
-
I don't think they'll replace OMAC, hes had a pretty good season as a whole with some blunders in the middle. I think Buggs papers are stamped but who knows, Spargo does seem tired but he had some good moments and has been playing the system. But, it's a raffle.

unsure if your post was directed at me Dr as it mentions things from my post, but just to clarify, I have never let my anxiety or frustration out on any player at the games. I usually sit there quietly with radio in ear and cheer the good moments, I use Demonland to vent like many others, but am always supportive.

Geelong are interested.

Very sad. What a great player he was, one of the best I've seen. Not sure how he drags himself out of it though?
-
Having said this, I just remembered Essendon are into Dylan Shiel, so that may be why also.
-
Jeez GWS have some depth, even with injuries. They still have Kelly, Shiel, Coniglio, Whitfield in amongst the rest. Himmelberg has been going OK and Lobb in the ruck has been pretty good. Won't be an easy game but think we'll run away with it. A good chance to look at who we can steal off them also, they won't be able to retain them all.
-
I have a feeling that Essendon moving Goddard on has something to do with this, hopefully we are still in the hunt? From memory reports had us as one of the first involved, would be disappointing to lose him at the final moment.

I think I'll support the club how I like and everyone else can do the same. There isn't anyone on this forum who does not support or love the club. For me, over 30 years of paying memberships, constant donations during down times, voluntary work during mid 000's, travelling to every away game interstate which is expensive (until this year). For anyone who questions my support can get stuffed and I certainly wouldn't question anyone else's. Its a football "forum" FFS, not a lovey dovey fan boy page. I will continue to call it as I see it, both good and bad, just as I will continue to support this club until the day I die. Oh and seeing some of my posts were quoted from the Goodwin thread, I called it as I saw it, and it's hard to argue with most of those things "at the time." It certainly didn't stop me attending games and cheering on the boys, just like others who posted in that thread. Weird post TBH. Oh and this post: "Goodwin is coaching a side that is mentally weak, has poor leaders, has no defence, fails repeatedly in big games, finds new stupid ways to lose games we should win, has one manic style game plan with no ability to stop other teams scoring when it matters." Most of it was actually true. Oh and don't forget to counter it with the positive posts where I finally gave Goodwin some credit about changing and am happy for the club to bring in experienced assistants to help him next year. As for support, watch the Dees fans come out in droves for our finals, after what this club has put us all through, I respect the fact that they all keep coming back.

Come on Fremantle & Brisbane

The spring in his step and leap plus his aerial marking ability reminds me of Jarrad Waite, fingers crossed he turns into a similar talented player
